It's really sad and sickening knowing that we have so degenerated into such level of tribalism and name calling. I come to Nairaland everyday so as to keep abreast with news and also be able to communicate with follow Nigerians but it's quite sad that all you see here is tribal wars. Sometimes the topic seems so intellectually captivating and you look forward to reading intellectual inputs only to end up reading about how my tribe is better than yours. Are we gonna ever get tired of this, most times I wonder if we are aware that non Nigerians also visit this Nigeria online forums, do we have any idea what their perception of us as Nigerians will be after reading comment and inputs all based on ethnicity and tribal affiliations. I just feel like crying honestly.

I wonder why the heck about been banned by fifa when there is not even anything to smile at during the world cup and our 900million down the drain. Who gives a Bleep about fifa anyway, they should go to hell and ban us for life for all I care. We participated in the tournaments and there was no results and if we get ban still no difference. I must congratulate the president on this laudable move, I wonder what it is that fifa say about govt not interfering with football when the same govt spend million of dollars on the same game without accountability and fifa wants the govt to smile at the NFF and give them awards for their gross failure. I´ve been reading through a lot of comments on this thread about about Pele not been the best because he didn´t play for any European club during his football days but I think a lot of people are getting the whole jist wrong and should be better informed on why he didn´t play in European clubs. ¨

So it´s not as if he couldn´t get a club to play or that the clubs were not interested in signing him but the Brazilian govertment declare him a national treasure and thus prevented him from leaving Brazil.
