See, Tinubu is not Obasanjo. Tinubu will even struggle to win the SW in 2027. If things continue this way, Believe me,there will be a huge voter apathy even in the SW.

Obasanjo was able to galvanized the entire South and the middle Belt to win a second term. I mean Buhari started his 12Million votes under the then ANPP in 2003. But Obasanjo did well. The Economy grew. People started having more money in their pockets. It was a period of "Gbemu" remember Obasanjo took minimum wage from 700naira to 3000 and before he left it was 7500 which civil servants started calling "gbosa"

Civil servants started living well and even the general populace with the introduction of GSM and the banking sector reforms.

Ṣee,If Tinubu had done well,by now the entire South will be behind him. But Man is as incompetent as Buhari and even worst than him. I should be happy that a fellow yoruba Man is in power but our pockets are getting lean and people are much more poorer. Noo,Haba.

While we enjoyed Obasanjo's tenure was that we were just coming out of military rule. So most of the things Obasanjo newly introduced were like catalysts for Nigeria's economy. Just imagine If Obasanjo had allowed industries to own their own IPP.

Point of correction, Peter never said he would remove petrol subsidy instantly.


He said he would remove it in phases and monitor the effect gradually not boom like Tinubu that acts first so you guys can hail him as Jagaban before he then starts to rethink when it's already late.


The major reasons Tinubu failed as a President are:

1.) He is too arrogant and prideful; he believes nobody can challenge or question him.

2.) He is too divisive and tribalistic, he doesn't see the good qualities in other tribes especially Igbos, maybe because he wants Yorubas t[/b]o see him as their Messiah or something.


3.) He is surrounded by sycophants who only want to share in the looting and are never ready to tell him the truth.

You see the bolded, I will disagree with you on that. Jagaban is a man that has worked and is still working with different tribes. I believe you remember his administration well when he was the governor of Lagos State. Ben Akabueze was one of his commissioners then.

He didn't meddle into the affairs of other tribes holding political posts in Lagos State such as Apapa, Amuwo Odofin and Ojo local government. He embraced all ethnic groups in Lagos State. Even if you go to the state's public offices, you will find igbos and other tribes there. In fact some yorubas are saying it that he actually caused what happened to his election in 2023 because he actually supported the igbos in Lagos State and embraced them hence the over familiarity was what gave the igbos the chance to meddle into the state's 2023 electoral process. Introducing your family into politics is a thing of choice. El-Rufai's children are politicians, same goes to Atiku and David Mark. And only his wife that is into politics. There was a time he banned his son, Seyi from coming to the villa. Remember how is son usually frequent aso rock? When last did you see him again?

As per the fuel subsidy removal, How do you think Peter Obi wants to remove it gradually? Do you think those in that sector will not sabotage his effort? I don't know if you understand my point. It's better you remove it once and anybody who wants to stage any sabotage is doing so at his own risk.
