Ak4me: ...but what's still holding them after your DP is current? Have you done your medicals as well? Just keep yourself a available online 24/7 bcoz you might the invitation before middle of the month. Medicals can only be done after receiving the interview letter, because the physician will request for it. |

Hi @JohnPhysics congratulations! The EB2 NIW does not require that you submit proof of funds for an immigrant visa (IV). Your welcome letter will tell you the required documents you need to submit, which are mainly civil documents. I usually suggest that people read through the embassy website to learn more about documents. I applied for my IV by myself, and I am documentarily qualified. JohnPhysics: Hello guys, I jus got my I-140 approved and I await my priority date to be current. I used Chen immigration law firm and they are very good. My application took less than 4 months to be approved. I have some questions:
1. I will be going for the consular processing since I am not in the USA.
2. Do I need to submit any document to show proof of fund or accommodation? if yes what is the amount for a family of four.
3. Although I am waiting for welcome letter from the NVC can someone share a document for DIY? I don't have 4k dollars to pay lawyers again.
I will appreciate if I get answer here or to my email: johndamisa66@gmail.com. THANKS!!! |

Hi, I am wondering about the closeness between your PD 04/23 and DQ 06/23. Are you sure it is correct? quote author=cobu post=126524856]Hi @Mandem101, I just discovered that applicants for adjustment of status have been asked to use the DOF in both October and November visa bulletins. I'm wondering if this is positive news and applicable to those waiting for consular processing like me. (PD: 04/23, DQ: 06/23)[/quote] |

Advanced degree means Master or PhD. Professional certificate does not count as advanced degree. I am a researcher with publications and hold a PhD in chemistry. My EB2 NIW application was successfully handled by Wegreen also known as Chen attorney. CallmeCoco: By Advanced Degree What Does it mean particularly? I know it means Stuffs like Masters And PHD....buh Do Professional Certificates count as an Advanced Degree?
And please those of you that passed the I-140 ....What Advanced Degree Did you Include? |

It should be former before marriage. My wife's own is former before marriage and it has been documentarily qualified. TosinKate: Hello house. Regarding attestation of birth certificate for a married woman. Will it be the former name before marriage or the new name after marriage that will be included? |

Thank you. I was DQ April 2023, EB2 NIW ROW. PD is August 2022 KemsyDA: Hello, kindly check if this post is correct...
How come all the documents you submitted to NVC were accepted in April 2022, and still your priority date is not current?
Are you doing EB2-NIW rest of the world?
Please also note that according to NVC, interviews are scheduled on first in, first out basis, meaning once your PD is current, DQ date becomes the basis of getting interview letter.
Thanks. |

Sorry, I was DQ April 2023 and my PD is 2 Aug 2022. If your PD is 14Feb2022 you can contact NVC to know the reason you have not received IL since your date is current. You should have received IL based on your PD. Koldfuzhion: Yes, my priority date is 14Feb22 while Final Action Date for EB2 ROW is 01Jul22. How come yours isn't current for since you are EB2-NIW and were DQ in April 2022? Are you not in the ROW category? |

I think the DQ doesn't matter when it comes to IL. It is the PD that matters. I was DQ April 2022, but my PD is not current. EB2 NIW. |
