BEDC is cunningly ripping her customers especially those with postpaid meters. While their field team collects meter readings, they deliberately choose to send estimated bills that is far higher. Lets pay for what you actually consume.

1. Check for your last know read meter reading from their bill
2. Calculate the difference between the last know reading and your current meter reading.
3. Multiply difference by 24.08
4. Include 5% VAT on figure and pay.

It may amaze you to know that many have paid more than they have consumed. Meaning, BEDC is actually owing you.

While I presume they’re having difficulties paying Transmission Company for energy bought, they should stop ripping us cunningly

Since the bottom line of this crime is money for ransom, it would be appropriate to have a system that monitors all withdrawals/deposits and trail large cash withdrawals/deposits end to end. Our security agencies could now be better engaged through intelligent active collaboration with financial institutions.

Kidnappers will now know there’s a system that monitors/trails financial transactions and that the kidnapped family members may not have reported the crime. This may deter them and make the business less lucrative.

I believe those in authority know this possible solution but doubt if some may be comfortable with the end to end monitoring of all cash transactions.

Life style changes may be required. Your mum should be active. Do some excercises. Brisk walking, dancing are little but help. Eat balanced diet.
