From what I observed, Putin is the most easy and reasonable person in the post because all the rest are hardcore. Russians have passed through crazy experiences that they don’t want any weak or western backed leader again.
They have tried it before and it bought hardship on them.

The first time I read Trials of Brother Jero, I dropped the book like a hot potato!
I couldn't relate.
My teenage mind rebelled!
I wondered if this was written for us at our level then or for a higher academic class/audience.
If it was written for a higher academic audience then whoever enlisted that book in our Junior Secondary Literature Scheme of work had to be summoned and queried by the authorities!
Since then I never bothered with Prof. Wole Soyinka's books.
I was taught in my undergraduate days that KISS (Keep It Short & Simple) is the key to communicating effectively with any audience on any subject matter.
Even as an adult I read some works and, while I may admire the writing style, I just sit and muse, wondering if the writer/author was trying to communicate or just busy massaging his potbelly-sized ego with a pen!
As an avid reader I really do not enjoy taking breaks between texts and consulting the dictionary just to be sure I am the same page with an author. It is burdensome.
Like Warren Buffett says, the only evidence you understand and have mastered any subject is your ability to explain it to the understanding of a six year old!
That being said, kudos to everyone who's mastered the skill to indulge themselves in some complex literary works. Bravo to you guys!

Thanks man 🫡. I actually had a writing stint at one point and used to be jealous of guys who wrote with complex grammar until I read a BBC article mocking Nigerian journalists over their writing style.

Then I read BBC and UK Guardian to copy their simple writing style, and stuck with it ever since.
