Nissan is not a specialist vehicle. Any certified engineer who knows what he/she is doing can find his way around the nissan. Its a Japanese model.
As for your 2008 altima, you wld need a good brand of 5w30 engine oil, with a good oil filter. If your transmission oil is dirty, you'll need the nissan NS2 transmission fluid(i hear its scarce) or you can look for the original Aisin CFex below. Take note.. "Using any other fluids apart from nissan ns2 or its equivalent would damage the transmission" and dats not a joke. I have one guy around idimu area i can recommend to you. Send a msg. Personally, i have not used the nissan quest. Depending on the year, most cars share same engine and transmission. Just different exterior looks and d rest. Read more about any car you intend to buy or use. Wikipedia would give u a simple breakdown of cars sharing same engine, gear and chassis with the nissan quest of whichever year you want.

The hardest part of vehicle repair is diagnosis. Once you are very sure of where the fault is from, fixing is the easiest. Be sure it is transmission fault before you buy a replacement. And if truly it is transmission, find out what went wrong before replacement. "If you pump a flat tyre without finding the leak, u wld still end up with another flat tyre"

very nicely put, i agree, i bought a Murano 2010 it's been having movement problems; one mechanic adviced me to convert the gearbox with a nissan Altima gearbox, another i should just change the injector mouth. I don't know what da hell to do. I have another car but i like to drive the Murano the other one runs on too much petrol.

Avoid those 2 mechanics. Seek someone who knows what he is doing. Nothing concerns transmission issue with injector mouth. If your transmission is bad, have it replaced and use the recommended nissan NS2. I believe its scarce, but u can also use this one as replacement. Provided you get a good replacement transmission and original cvt oil.

If its not a brand new car, it wont spend more than 2 years max with me. Assuming you asked earlier, an aunt just sold her well used 1990 Nissan micra to a friend who intends to use for driving school purpose. Was sold for a token. My guy is enjoying his good buy. Since he got it, his 06 primera is parked at home while he is enjoying d micra. This life no hard at all. I'll contact u if any one shows up soon

Im moving to my 5th nissan. An infiniti QX56.from the 1991 nissan pathfinder se v6 manual 4wd,to 1996 pathfinder, to 2000 pathfinder, to 2003 pathfinder, now im on the 2005 nissan pathfinder. Im selling not because i have any issues but cos there is no reason to keep 2 full size suv.

From almera, to sentra to primera, to murano and pathfinder, there is no car maker withour a cvt. Even Toyota and honda cvts flood the market and highways.

Every car made by man has it flaws,but once u get the wrong car, u wld think the car is the problem. I have used opel, Mitsubishi, Subaru and the rest but there is never a time u wont find a nissan with me. Most especially the nissan pathfinder. Serves well, very reliable and i havent regretted since.

When you want a car, try find out from those who have truly owned and used the car not from those who feed you with beer parlor talks and lies. Most people with a pathfinder hardly sell it cos of it being very rugged.

Get a good nissan, maintain as u ought to and ull be fine. Simple as ABC

Present Faults do not in any way affect the cars's performance in anyway. Vehicle serves very well. There is jst no reason keeping 2 ful size SUVs at the same time

Ordered replacememt for the broken plasric! Ac panel

Vehicle is in my house and not a dealer. Papers are still in till next year.tyres are also recent. If Alimosho is not close by, serious buyers can contact me a day b4 so i can use the car out the nxt day. Pls try keep in mind im om thank mainlangmmyou more pictures below

This is my 4th nissan pathfinder starting from the year 1991 manual SE v6. The replacement for this particular one is an infiniti Q56. Thats a V8 engine just like my for F250 triton. Nissan and infiniti is all about passion.

Engine and gear in top notch and very well maintained, AC not working, 16" alloy rims, , fabric interior, 3rd row seating, vehicle still in use., papers still valid till 2022
Things to note
1.crack on windshield towards d wiper, nor very noticeable
2.fuel guage not functioning
3.cracked ac panel as shown in pix below

Please note, vehicle is still very much in use, its nigerian used so expect some repairs.
Suspension is in great shape
While vehicle is still up for sale i am also working on replacing the cracked ac panel and full oven bake.
