There is no big deal difference riding intra city and highway. Road is road. Just follow same safe driving rules you shouldn't have any difficulty.

i disagree with you sir,

Intra city and Highway driving are totally two different things.

1. The degree of mental alertness is not the same

2.Your decision making time can not be the same

3. Your speed can not be same

4. The driving skills comes to proper test on highways

5. Your car must be well maintained to do constant high speed for a long time,And assuming your car is not sound or well maintained and you still want to go high way,my brother your experience will help you a lot .
I can go on and on,but let me stop here. .

I've been driving for 7yrs.all the while intracity.I enter the express way for an average of 10minutes and never interstate.My car is always serviced.Any small fault is well taken care of.at least the obvious ones

just got my personal car about a year ago though

7 years of driving intracity is different from 6 straight hours on highway..i know it can not be same experience.
From what you said you car is well maintained..so its clearly fears,well you can get a second person who is more qualified than you do,to guild you while you do your first long trip.please ignore all other speed racers as you will see many of them on highway.please don't let their speed induce you.

How many years of experience do you have in Driving.?
if you are not experienced ,please don't do it,but if you have experience,then you need to conquer your fears.please dont go highway when you have fears all over you,least you might cause disaster...i will advise you forget about driving yourself.please take public transport..when your mind is matured enough in driving ,then go highway.Its not your car,Its your mind that is trying to confuse you.

APC: What manner of change?

The APC has been consistent in saying that the PDP has ruled Nigeria for 16 disastrous years in which corruption, impunity, insurgency, armed robbery and several ills of society held sway. But a very close look at the APC, I am seeing

* Amaechi - 8yrs speaker; 7yrs governor under PDP,

* Atiku - 8yrs Vice president under PDP,

* Akume -8yrs governor under PDP,

* Bukola Saraki - 8yrs governor; 2yrs Senator under PDP,

You are the only person saying something meaningful here,Nigerians! ,we know noting!, yet we claim we know..

* Timipre Sylver -4yrs governor under PDP,

* Audu Ogbe - 2yrs chairman of PDP,

* Aminu Masari - 4yrs Reps speaker under PDP,

* Chris Ngige - 3yrs governor under PDP,

* Kwankwaso - 7yrs governor, 3yrs Defense minister under PDP,

* El-Rufai - 4yrs FCT minister, 2yrs BPE chairman under PDP,

* Oyinlola, 7 and half years governor under PDP,

* Segun Oni, 3 and half years governor under PDP,

And to cap it all they went to OBJ begging, a man who they claimed spent 8 of the disastrous 16 yrs as the maximum ruler of Nigeria to come and lead them on a rescue mission.

It is now clearer that APC is a waste basket of the PDP, where the people who created and perpetuated the "16 Disastrous years" are now dumped.

Please Nigerians what is the change in this APC?
