I have dealt with some ministeries.
When a government worker complains of not getting work or not recognized, it is never out
of patriotism or passion. Their real complaint is about being locked out of "entitled benefits"
such as job slots or awarding contracts.

Personal issues are not the right metric to judge a public official by.
Only 2 questions matter.
Was their performance below expectations?
Did they engage in illegal activity while at the helms?

If they pass those 2 questions, then they have succeeded regardless of what subordinates think.

When Jimoh Ibrahim assumed responsibility of NICON ,he came with his friends, they took over management of NICON from Well experienced directors who know the secrets of insurance.

They claimed they wanted to sanitise the system but I was expecting him to make someone a scape goat so that others who indulge in corrupt practices will change or take a bow.

He only diverted NICON funds for personal interest.at the end of the day,he was owing staff salaries and pension..he was owing claims..
He owned so many other things till date.

When you visit NICON now,it's a shadow of its self.

Now, to Fowler,I don't know him personally, but I heard and this article also stated that he came with his men in the name of fighting corruption,
But what did they do, they turned FIRS into a personal or family firm neglecting people who know the in and out of this establishment for years without indicting them of any corrupt practices.

Like I said, am not sure the practice of neglecting your management team will make any boss succeed..rather show clear signs .....make any person found wanting a scape goat,they rest of the team will adjust to your style immediately..
And you achieve your aim with their support...

That is the basics of my comparison and the point am trying to make.

1.it's possible he has another family outside this country.

2. It's also possible is doesn't have any other family except you and his kids .

thank you for your response , I met him while at school while he was graduating and I was entering the university, he helped out with my registration process and I just grew fond of him, he didnt ask me out at that time untill we met again on fb when I was in 300l , I discovered he was out of the country but he told me he was in Canada, we did lots of video calls through Skype and yahoo messenger and that was how the relationship started ,when I was preparing for my final year exam he visited the country and proposed ,after my exam and project defence his people came for my introduction on his behalf , I was meant to visit him after the introduction and also get some things for the wedding as plans are setting in place ,he called to informed me that his company had transferred him from Canada to their branch in Dubai ,he works in a shipping company even till date my mom still attach Canada to his name as a saved contact, when I went to UAE I went through his passport and didnt see any Canadian stamp and it was later I discovered that he had never been to Canada before but I forgave him for lying to me ... the first child was conceived during my nysc ,I already made arrangement for that but he said I need to go home and have the baby since its my first and also by the time in giving birth it ll b same period when I will ve to attend my passing out parade ,
second child was conceived when my first was 7months old and that period he lost his job so he was taking out the frustration on me , I was always visiting the hospital due to one complication or the other I suffered after he hit me for allowing a church member to visit me , he had made it plain that he doesnt accommodate friends ,when I reported to my parents my father told him to come home so I can b taken care off .
third pregnancy was during buhari regime when ban was imposed on some imported goods ,he was already into cargo and logisitics so business that year was bad I saw it and understood with him.after the third child he went and canceled our visa without informing me
the major problem was the issue of job ,I got one in abj and he said I'm not going to take his kids anywhere,my parents weren't having it and during the meetings with my parents he asked me to stay behind and not follow him back home because my father I shld take the job and leave the marriage ,after a while I gave up the job because I was missing my children ,I wasn't allow to take them and even my parents said I shldnt bring his children to their house let him be responsible for them ..it was after we settled that he opened a tailoring shop for me and then the issue of UK came in ..

1. For the period you lived with him on UAE,what was the relationship like.
2. What job does he do.
3.You said you have successfully travelled down to Nigeria to give birth on two occasions before this third one.please tell us what happened during this third trip.
4.You said you guys almost went the divorce way.Why...What happened.....How was this issue settled ,if it was actually settled.

I can relate to your story.
But I will like to know if there is any other family expenses your husband does within that one month.
Take for instance,I give my wife a certain amount for foodstuffs only for 1 month.
I take care of everything else.
We are four in the family including the kids.
At a point she complained that the money wasn't enough any longer.
I reasoned with her that she try and continue managing pending when our financial status improves.
One day, i called her and we began to calculate our total expenses in a month except for feeding.
She marveled at the kind of money we spent in just one month.
We also looked at what is coming in every month.
After that calculation ,we both cautioned ourselves on the need to watch our expenses least we run into big financial problems.
NOTE: my wife is the best manager of fund I have ever seen. Intact any money I don't want to spend ,I will just deposit it into her account,and that one is saved.

You know sometimes,we need to do this checks and balances especially in a family,it will help both husband and wife know what the future holds for them financially.

Don't spend money because others are spending.
Spend because you can afford it.

OP, if you seek better protection (what against, I do not know) and you seem to think 5w40 will offer you that, then by all the pistons and rings in your car, do so.
At least I am sure you will lose a few mpg, the other consequence(s) if any is what I am not sure of.
Been to other car forums where people have run 5w40 against the recommended 5w30 or 5w20 and their engines didn't grenade after years of use.
However, those people may not report if and when their engines quit. So it's up to you.

My engine is in top shape. By my judgement.
It's my wish to switch to 5w 40 because i want my engine to run smoother, more quite and more lubricanted and am very sure it won't degrade the performance of my engine as well.

What am not too sure is the product to use.
Though I am leaning towards Total hence my question here.
1 or 2 persons here have given their reviews on Total which is not bad nor far from what others said outside this forum.

I follow my services religiously,so am very sure my engine will still be in top shape of years.

The one with higher wattz should give you better sound.
But you have to check the impedence level .it is measured in ohms.
Ohms rating of sound system also play a major role in sound quality.

The lower the ohms,the better the sound.

Go ahead with Total Quarts 9000 bro, I've used it on 4 cars over a period of 8years and all I have for it is praise. You get good mpg, engine runs calmly and the seals are well protected such that the exterior of the engine is always dry.

If I wanted performance I would have imported Motul or any one of the other top shelf oils.

Total protected my 4Runner fantastically for over 5 years. And she’s no garage queen. We do lots of off roading and road trips (just did same day Ibadan - Ore - Ibadan today). With AC permanently on, 5 people and average of 80mph (up yours CHP )

Again, unless one is driving a hand built micro spec engine like AMG, Ferrari, etc then guys with Accord/Camry that are fretting over oil brands in Nigeria or importing Mobil1 are just stroking egos.

With the extreme conditions we operate in, your oil shouldn’t stay in your crankcase too long.
