Following reports by the registrar, The National Examinations Council (NECO) has released the results of the November/December 2016 Senior School Certificate Examinations (GCE).
The Registrar and Chief Executive of NECO, Prof. Charles Uwakwe, who disclosed this information today in Minna also revealed that the results were released exactly 60 days (2 months) after the exams was conducted.
A statement by the registrar:“A total of 47,941 candidates registered, out of which 47,118 sat for the exams and the number of candidates with five credits, including Mathematics and English Language, put at 28,530 (60.55%).”

The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board has finally released JAMB 2017/2018 cut off marks for all Nigerian colleges and universities.
Professor Is-haq Olanrewaju Oloyede, the boss of JAMB, has recently declared that all Nigerian educational institutions will have 180 individual and departmental cut off marks.
Moreover, he added that some colleges could lessen JAMB cut off marks to 150, while the others can increase them to 200 and higher.
