jmaine: Oga, who said they are illiterates . . .why you too dey jump into conclusion . . . and i wasn't into any pronunciation justification . .but the undisputed fact remains that . .the hype of Osun as being on the top cadre is not true . . .bros . .i see things for that state abeg . . . forget matter . . . before you go mention Osun . . .the following states in no order specific order shall be given prominence . .Lagos, Ondo, Ogun, Edo,Delta,Plateau,Imo, Anambra,Akwa Ibom, Ekiti, and Abia state e.t.c . . .My brother, If it is OAU eyes they are looking at then so be it. If we bring out stats of the best University in African continent (of over 500 universities) OAU was the first in Nigeria. What does that tell you ? Today UK can boast of good educational level among her citizens not because they are good in English language or good with "diction" but because of the problem solving ability. Before we say A and B, some are quick to shout waec, jamb etc. Ask yourself why did Uk ban Nigerian univerities and not OAU and co ? My brother it is quality not quantity. Spelling and grammar does not show how educated one is. For all I care I can be writing and be good in Fula would one consider me as an uneducated man ? The performance you are talking about does not go to those states and you know that. I hope you see what I mean. |
Waec Jamb etc is also a good indicated of illiteracy I presume. I can believe I forgot Kaduna Yes that state get am ![]() |
jmaine: Bros, me sef wey serve for Osun state no wassup
You shack alomo this night? Same Osun i served? Are we to discredit waec and JAMB stats?

You shack alomo this night? Same Osun i served? Are we to discredit waec and JAMB stats?
thus they are illiterate ? C'mon remove the biased view from your post and ask how many graduates that state chun out every year plus quality compare to Nsuuka and Anambra. Lets face the reality here, we are not english people thus every single pronuciation would not be exact but in terms of class, as far as African is concerned yes they are wayyyy better than Anambra etc As for the Lagos bit, Ok then lets remove Lagos for fairness |
ekwy nwa:You have to admit your laughter is uncalled for |

Same old story, But yes good one Lagos/Nigeria. wesley80: You wish. Power is still an exclusive FG venture and whatever you generate MUST be fed into the national grid, its a non issue as things stand. A gas plant in my part of the country is reputed to be the biggest in terms of generation volume but the entire power generated is evacuated to Anambra state where it is stepped down and fed into the national grid. Only one community in the entire LG is connected to the so called national grid and we r talking about a gas plant the FG had absolutely no hand in constructing!, even at the recent South South summit, one of the issues raised by the Rivers state governor was the refusal of the FG to grant him "permission to generate power for his people" despite having the means to do so.From your comment, one would tell you are NOT a serious person or at least a person that is absolutely not sure what what he is talking about. 1. What community is that gives the "Biggest" power generation volume ?. As far as Nigeria is concerned the dams aka Hydroelectric power contributes far more than gas etc turbines. Thus your community has to be in Nigeria state or Ogun/Ondo state. 2. The government has give free hand to each state to provide her own electricity if they can. I do not know what planet you are living in. After all the IPPs you have been hearing / 3. Yes the deal was with the FG, that one you were correct in 4. If your government is a serious one, then she would either do two thing a. ) Privatized the power sector, I mean complete privatization and not selling it to friends b. ) Try to build one of two dams so as to serve the FCT (Abuja), technology hub (Anambra) and her commercial centre (Lagos). The rest can fend from themselves. Of course I don't see you seeing it from that point of view. Mumu |

Abbeypremium: I find it difficult to understand what the two posters above refering to Yoruba speaking 'Yoruba Yoruba neither could I comprehnd the import of the messages coming from their dirty and biased mind against the most respected, highly hospitable and peace loving ethnic/tribe in Nigeria. Could you pls come out in clear terms what are your problems with Yoruba speaking the mother tongue thereby preserving the native language from extinction like your own.Dude you are wasting your time. That is typical Igbo mentality. Let them continue. At the end of the day..... |

Yoruba girls, Igbo girls etc It does not matter. Really, lets look at it this way If I was born in Abia and know how to run fast, certainly I have every right to represent the state. Same goes for the girls and truth be told those girls are not as bad as your people make them look !!! Except Balysea |
