Please can anyone post it, especialy department of pol science Because UNIUYO don't release cut off marks publicly, one has to walk from one department to another, collecting one by one that's if you need it. |

Are you from Akwa-Ibom, Edo, Cross River, Bayelsa or River State? If so, then you have higher advantage. Those that are from educationally less develope states have the highest advantage. While those that are neither from educationally less develope states nor catchment areas have just advantage. |

Gguy4real: Pls what am I going to do, in my print out i suppose to do economics and history but when the exam started they change it to crk and government and when I check my result they recorded only economics and history wish is 00 is there anybody to help with advice or what to do? Hmmmm this can be really frustrating. I really really understand the psycological trauma you are going through right now because I was once in your shoe. I wasted last year simply because UNIBEN refused to release my result for no reason. I tried all I could but at the end they said MALPRACTICE CASE! I did not do anything related to malpractices, only God and I knew the pain UNIBEN inflicted on me last year despite all my effort. No reasult was given to me and because of that I missed last year's admission. Your's is a bit different story because I know someone whom I think can help you out. There is a guy I do visit his blog now and befor the post utme, he has his picture on his blog. I was so supprised when I met him one on one at UNIUYO. Something happened along Ikpa road and I observed the way he handled the situation maturely, I can tell you that he is genuine. Go straight to his blog, he has an interesting message for those that did not see their results and those that did not have their result complete. click on "UNIUYO POST UTME CANDIDATES who had ISSUES (OR ARE NOT SATISFIED) with their RESULTs should READ THIS" http://www.mygstpapers.com/?m=1 Goodluck bro. |

Politics / Re: Akwa Ibom Marks 26th Year Of State Creation by Allenkee: 6:02pm On Sep 23, 2013 |
AKWA IBOM AT 26- Message from Okon Iyanam My dear Akwa Ibomites, On the occasion of the ceremonies of our state's 26th anniversary, I join you all in celebration and in thanksgiving to almighty God. Indeed, we have a lot to be grateful to God for. In 26 years of existence, our state's economy, with a GDP size of nearly $14 Billion, is the size of the combined economies of 27 sub-Saharan African countries. Many more of our school-age children are now in school as a result of the policies of the present administration and infrastructure development has proceeded at an unprecedented pace. Though the basis of our state's revenue remains precariously dependent on petroleum income, the infrastructure background we now have should serve as sufficient inducement for external investment in our resources in a way that helps us, in the long term, to facilitate the establishment of industries, boost transactional relations and expand the base of the state's internal revenue generation. We have hope today of a secure future if the right policies are conceived and implemented in the succeeding era. While in join you in prayers and thanksgiving, I am also deeply satisfied that this future will be placed in safe and competent hands. As I have said at various fora, I believe that happy days lie ahead in an Akwa Ibom that belongs to us all. I envision a happy future in which youth empowerment will be our overriding mantra. I see an Akwa Ibom that will be the powerhouse of industrial development and growth within the Gulf of Guinea region and in Nigeria at large. I will work towards an Akwa Ibom in which all our people, including the rank outsider who dwells in peace amongst us, will become the main beneficiaries of our collective patrimony and proud residents of the geographical space that God, in his infinite mercies, has given unto us as our home. We must keep this home safe from harm by rejecting crime and criminality in all facets of our life; by eschewing division based on the language we speak or the tribe from which we come; by denouncing destructive criticism and by promoting constructive engagement across all social, cultural and political strata in our land. But perhaps more than anything else, as we celebrate, we must spare a moment to think compassionately about the sick, the infirm and the poor who number highly amongst the underprivileged in our midst. It is to them that I dedicate my thoughts on this august occasion and to their well-being that I commit myself to labour in the years that lie ahead. Happy days lie ahead! Akwa Ibom belongs to us all!! Okon Iyanam http://blog4all-com..com/2013/09/akwa-ibom-at-26-message-from-okon-iyanam.html |

Dibangoking: congrats dude, you have a good chance but it depends on general performance in your department sha The truth is that this year's JAMB results were mostly below average, if Obafemi Awolowo University could cut 240 and 200 for competitive courses like Accountancy and Public Administration respectively this year, whereas Accountancy and Public Administration were 248 and 243 respectively last of which JAMB results were mostly above average, then it is obvious that UNIUYO's cut off for Accountancy this year will not be up to 240 due to JAMB wahala. Below are few cut off marks for last year, from a reliable source in UNIUYO. The cut-off marks for Accounting is 236 (Merit) 226 (catchment area) Business management 235 (merit) 227 (catchment area) Marketing 235 (Merit) 227 (catchment area) Banking and Finance 217 (Merit) 203 (catchment area). |

Education / Is It True That Petrol Really Sterilizes Clippers? by Allenkee: 7:46pm On Sep 21, 2013 |
It has been proven that sexual intercourse is not the only channel of contacting HIV AIDS, Scientist also proofed that AIDS can also be transmitted through Clippers! It is obvious that many people do go to Barber's Shops without a private Clipper, they go with the intention of using a public Clipper own by a Barber, I happen to be one of these people . Just of recent I began to take notice of a liquid substance Barbers usually pour on the blade of their Clippers immediately they are through with a customer. One faithful day as I was about cutting my hair, the Barber poured the liquid substance on the blade of the Clipper then I asked what liquid was that? He said "Petrol" use for sterilizing the Clipper. My question is, can petrol (premium motor spirit) sterilize Clippers? Can it prevent the spreading of HIV AIDS through Clippers? Or are Barbers using it all in the name of sterilization for customers not to stop patronizing them? |
