PRAY!!!!!.....

The above break down is not for candidates that qualified for Post UTME.
It is the break down of those that chose UNIUYO as first choice during JAMB registration, this same info is on JAMB website.
We all know that not every candidate scored up to 180 in JAMB, so the total of those that qualified for the Post UTME was far less than what we're having above.

Kingsleypower@:
i know how you feel brother....as i write this message for my fellow UNIUYO aspirants to read...i write with a sorrowful heart, more than 90% of my highschool classmates have gotten admission into various UNIVERSITIES. I can AUTHORITATIVELY say that i am MORE INTELLIGENT than MOST of them...I am so sad right now.

I know people will say that i shouldn't be sad or that i shouldn't worry...but i'm HUMAN. I never imagined that in the year 2013 i'll still be searching for admission after graduating 4rm high school in 2011....*I'm really sad*

**hopes he is not cursed**

ANDREW2EIC: @Kingsley, My bro, I perfectly understand where you are coming from. You may wonder, why perfectly? Do u really know how I feel? Yea, I do! How? Because I have same story to tell, just that mine appears worst.

Each time I have a flashback of the happenings in my life since I left high school in 2010, uncontrollable tears roll down my cheek from my eyes. I do shed tears not because I feel that I am a loser or a failure, but because I feel that difficulties only make me stronger. Yea, stronger!

Well, I don't feel like telling my story in details right now, perhaps I will do that someday. If not for any other thing, I have learnt to take frustration in my stride.

Even if I do not get admission this year(though the probability of that happening is zero), I will not give up writing another Jamb next year. I honestly thank God for everything, because I will go into the university more prepared for life after school.

gameboi: Amen!!! I also graduated from sec. School in 2011. Long story sha.

SO YOU GUYS ARE KIDS!!!!!
If I tell you my story, then you will know that yours is not a problem at all and you will thank God for every situation.
Keep the fire burning don't let your past hunts and discourages you. Set your mind on your goals and always try to ignore every negative thought that tries to remind you of your past mistakes.

Successful people keep moving they make
mistakes but never quit.

They refuse to allow their past failures discourage them, they keep moving untill they attain their goal and when they acheive it, they know the true value of it because they suffer for it.
Once again keep moving because you are on the right path to making your future easy.

What is wrong in INTEREST?
You need money urgently for something but you don't have the money, you seek help from a friend that has such amount of money but he said you would pay an additional amount plus the principal at the end of the aggreed period.
Tell me, what is wrong in that?
He owns the money and can deal with it the way he likes.

Interest is also a soul of business. If you don't want intetest, then stay away from business.

Chukkasy: now concerning admission i'd like u pple 2 know some things
1) law, medicine, pharmacy, comm arts and some departments in engineering will always have high cut-off marks
2)apart 4rm d dept cut off mark, indigenes always have low cut off marks
3)uniuyo gives admission based on catchment areas, i.e, if there are 2 slots for imo state in medicine, they'll take d 2 aspirants 4rm imo state with d highest score. Dont b surprised when an akwa ibom indigene gets admission ahead of u, though u have a higher aggregate.
4)d most important thing is to score up 2 180 in both jamb and post utme. Pple get admission with aggregates of 180.(i'm a witness). But not in law, medicine, pharmacy.
You forgot Business Admins and Accounting

nutty_hnic: Very dumb post.
Why only exteriors? Most pictures are either senate buildings or administrative.

I read some years ago that the bodies responsible for universities ranking carry out inspections to even TOILETS.

Nigerians have a very bad habit of consoling themselves as a means of psychologically reassuring themselves that they still fit in to "society", when in fact, they are in a very sorry state.

Do not try to make that which is crooked straight. Most universities in this country are below what is recognized as the "standard". Period.

Sadist how far?

Looking back at what really happened in JAMB this year, one can categorically say that the departmental cut off for this year will be low compare to last year.
I noticed this in OAU departmental cutoff marks, every department mark droped compared to that of last year.
Since you are an indegene, then you should have rest of mind.

As far as Law is concern this year, something tells me that the cutoff may be high because so many Law aspirants I met scored from 300 upward!
A guy even scored 368, I began to wonder if their questions were so simple? The least I've seen got 280, you really have to buckle up.
Though most of them had low scores in JAMB, between 180 and 210.

Education / Re: UNIUYO 2014/2015 Admission Update Thread by Allenkee: 7:34pm On Oct 05, 2013
Dibangoking: Acceptance fee is usually collected by Uniuyo Micro Finance Bank...I doubt there are other branches apart from the one in the school.

Can someone pay onbehalf of someone else?
I'm asking cos it does'nt make sence to me for someone to travell all the way from Lagos to UNIUYO just to pay acceptance fee, one will have to budget nothing less than 28,000 naira.
Just imagine the cost of transport and the journey stress.
