Here's the few tips that might help you to generate targeted traffic If done wisely.

1. Write quality content, if I say quality that means the content that truly does worth of your readers time.

2. Do guest blogging/posting: Search for your niche related blogs, mostly you'll find around 70% blogs with pages like "Write for us", Guest bosters needed", etc.. Write quality content on their blogs and you'll get a link back from the Author bio or you can also send 1/2 link from the content body to your blog's relevant source.

3. Participate in forums/blog post discussions: Bookmark the renowned forums and blogs that fall under your niche. And make a schedule to do 1/2 posts and comments on each of the source. This way you'll get direct traffic from your forum signatures and blog comments. Make sure never ever do spam. As, it'll hurt your repute in a long run and you also might get banned from the sources. Also do not post 1 line comments with such words "thank you, great post, this is what I was looking for, blah blah".

I've visited your forum and found that it needs some changes for better user experience.

Here's my thoughts:

1. Redesign your forum header banner, as it's not suitable for the Jobs category forum. It should be like people standing with job letters and obviously a smile on their faces.
2. Social icons that are with "login > register" should be at the right side of top navigation bar.
3. Must set a little bit description for each sub forum. That should appear under the title of it such as you used in Market Place forum.
4. Remove the support email that you've used openly at the bottom of the page and set a Support/Contact Us page for it. Because no anyone want to receive junk emails because everyone knows about email harvesters/ scrapers.
