Good morning everyone. Happy new week!

Please, seems my Xiaomi phones are not Xender-friendly. My Xender hardly connect with other phones' Xender. I was even trying to connect 5A Prime Xender with 5 Plus Xender to transfer files, but wasn't successful.

However, I've allowed all the required permission. Turned on GPS, e.t.c but the problem still persists. Please my people, kindly help me out. Thank you!

Use mi drop instead if u are transferring from two or more Xiaomi devices.

Another day another Xiaomi phone. When dem go give us max 3 self. 625 chipset no dey tire dem ni.

So I just got on the Ntel Wawu train. Sadly it appears that my phone doesn't support the Ntel bands.

And that's the confusing part. I use the Xiaomi Mi Max 1. The listed bands are 1,3,7, 38.

Ntel claims to support band 8 and 3.

So I thought I was covered.

I've tried the *#*#4636#*#* trick and still no show. The Sim is stuck on emergency calls only and no service.

Ocassionally it flashes a full bar network and disappears in seconds.

Btw, the wawu sim apparently works flawlessly on Redmi note 4x. I tested it.

And I recently updated to miui 9.5.2 stable global rom. 4 days ago to be precise.

Any suggestions on what else to try please. I'm at my wits end here.

Let me start by saying, u need to be patient. If u get everything right it takes about 15mins for d SIM to start working on mi max. It took almost an hour d first time I inserted it into my phone. Am using the same mui version as urs so u are fine

Here are the steps I took, decide the SIM slot u wanna use but in my case am using SIM 1.

As usual Xiaomi SIM service came up blocking the SIM card so i connected to my friends hotspot den set ntel to LTE only and restrict Etisalat to 3G Nd 2G.

U will be asked to provide Ur mi account password depending on d kind of security settings.

Note All this will pop up during first time use.

Go to settings > About phone > tap on internal storage
3 times till it shows another page, follow the screen shots below and make sure u are still connected to an hotspot.

U will repeat the process in d screenshot anytime u reboot Ur fone for ntel to work.

I told her to update and she did update to this MIUI version which is the latest for Note 5A prime. I guess V 9.5.8 is yet to be made available to that class of phone. After the update, she did complain once.

There is a new update to v 9.5 since last week it's abt 400+ mb.

It's working well on mine I did no magic at all, all I did was to change it to LTE only cos if u choose prefer LTE from settings it will search 2G, 3G and LTE togeda. Make sure Ur Xiaomi SIM activation is not blocking it and also check d APN. U can check jboixxx profile on hw to set the SIM slot u are using to LTE only but u will AV to repeat the same process every time u reboot Ur prime device. Cheers

Yes it's working flawlessly AV been using it for 3 days nw and no issues at all.

I use it on SIM 2 but u AV to set it to LTE only for it to be stable.

My brother every courier has its ups Nd down sometimes it will be fast and might go sideways too. I don't bother myself since buyers protection time never finish. Also it's based on sellers location in china, take for example a seller in Lagos and a seller in borno both shipped dia items at the same time, which one do u think will be despatched to overseas first, borno's order will AV to make its way to Lagos or Abuja first before it will be despatched to overseas, the same thing affects local shipping in china, it's d same china post dat delivered an order made 17th last month. And was despatched to overseas on d 28th of march.

I did my own little research nd found out from miui forum that rn5 does not support quick charge but rn5 plus does,and it's QC 3.0 snapdragon 625 has,the thing is if you are using a quick charger of 3.0 it will charge at that rate but if you're using the 1 of 2.0 it will also charge at 2.0 rate. They had proof thwre and lots of testimonies of their phones charging from 0 to 100 in just 1hr and some minutes

First impressions have really been good tbf, it's surpassing my expectations and sd450 is pretty snappy in its own way. Phone is sleek.

@iamspeedracer did u charge d fone before using it wen jumia dropped it off. This is my sister own she GT it from jumia last Thursday.

I would suggest u stay off 4G unless it's highly needed and turn off GPS unless u wan discover mungo park also reduce ur screen time out time.

These are untracked carriers na, well except you paid for shipping via alixpress standard shipping or China registered airmail. China post small packet and sellers shipping method are untrackable to nigeria. E fit come, e fit no come. Na luck.

It's trackable seller don ship already, registered mail self. One has been handed over to airline self something I ordered on tuesday
