Yungmilio2:Welcome Biggest Boss. Aw break dey go? #SIR. ONA |
Kinfunfun22:Na me dey sleep? I said it, yungmilio2 added to it. You are here proving what is not obtainable. The fact that we are students and not even 100L gave us d right to tell u what we have seen not what u are reading. Again, don't be too forward, ur source in that screenshot is d school academic programme designed for 2009 - 2013. So, let me educate u more, Telecommunication Science is a branch of Electronics Engineering that is majorly based on Networking and transmission. Students admitted to study TCS in 100L will be doing some courses with engineering and science students (2 statistics, 2 maths and 3 physics; in 200L they minor from maths and engineering depts), excluding there departmental courses that are also mathematics oriented. So, u that knows d criteria better, tell me how that course can be for ART students. And for the lady in d matter, pls kindly let us know d courses u can apply for when u wanna change to see if Telecommunication Science is there. #SIR. ONA. |
Kinfunfun22:Bro, don't be too forward next time. It is gud u wanna help but don't misinform a fellow aspirant like u. TCS, CSC and ICS are pure science oriented courses which majorly based on networking and programming. But, not in all do u need ur 3 UTME subjects to be science based but in all u must do atleast 2 science subjects except in CSC that must be strictly MATH, PHY and CHM but in d other 2 U can exclude CHM. While MASS COMM is purely art oriented course and LIS both SCIENCE and ART oriented. NOTE; Because 2 or more courses are in d same faculty doesn't mean that there admission requirement will be d same. As per d boss yungmilio2, ICS is not related to Mass Com. ICS is into programming and networking and not news casting or broadcasting or advertisement as our fellow communicators,ICS minor frm ur dept (CSC) likewise from Mass Com (just 100L and only 2nd semester in 200L, 4courses all through) which may not really be 100% relevant as u guyz also use to do PLB in 100L and that PHY in 200L. |
Kinfunfun22: Mhizashantee1:You can change ur course but definitely not to telecoms science as suggested by d boss I quoted because telecoms is a science course. You can look into all courses in faculty of art and library and information science. #SIR. ONA |
Sveen:U mean it's too low? |
NOTE: POST UTME IS NOT OUT YET UNTIL IT IS ON THE HOMEPAGE OF THE SCHOOL WEBSITE. |
Cut off cont'd
|
The cut off
|
Please, d form is not out yet until u see it on d homepage of d school website. Kindly, save ur time and money, scammers mean business this time around. |
khassy:How abj? Will u come to Ilorin during post utme registration? If yes, let me know when u are coming, to get those stuffs ready so u can go with them. |
Yustash001:My dear aspirant, kindly apply gentle man approach to all issues and even if u can't, what is most important is that common sense should be in ur presentation. The fact that I said the information is not from a reliable source doesn't mean you should attack me in that manner. Also, kindly learn how to understand and not only how to read. In that post of mine, I clearly stated "incase", which clearly indicate that u can quote me but don't quote me if the form is not out by sunday, so that fellow like u who doesn't understand d fact that change is constant wouldn't come and tell me "Oga, shebi u said na frm reliable source". My last reply to ur post has been given to an aspirant like you who called a fellow student liar (ask Khassy) NOTE: As u urself can see it here, d post utme is not only on d way, it is already on the school portal, just remain one or two buttons to be activated for u guyz to av access to it. |
Good day, ladies and gentlemen (If any ), the post utme form should be online tonight or tomorrow. So get ready. NOTE: THIS IS NOT FROM A REALIABLE SOURCE, SO DON'T QUOTE ME INCASE.... |
Congrats to those that have seen their institution and for those that can't check, u can just post ur registration number, gonna help you check. For those that their details have been sent to UNILORIN, kindly make use of the opportunity through prayer and adequate preparation because admission will be less competitive this year since JAMB has already help to limit d number of applicants. #GOODLUCK |
hulkhiharitoz:Thanks. |
hulkhiharitoz:Pls, if u won't mind, I will like to know ur utme score. I want to use it to determine d range of the cut-off for Accounting. |
LEGITLAYO:Lie You aspirants just come up to prove u re well informed than the students.Because u meet up with the required jamb score doesn't automatically mean u will be admitted. Also, because u might still be in secondary school then, during Prof. Oloyede tenure as the VC, the cut-off for mbbs used to be 240 and change is still constant d last time I checked. Mind you, d statistics from jamb this year shows that d pass rate is higher than that of last year and increase in number of applicants in some universities, thus one of the reasons for jamb new policy. |
Since he went online to accept the result of the 2015 Lagos
State governorship poll, Jimi Agbaje has abandoned the
same digital platforms where he received much attention
during his campaign. At the recent general elections, Agbaje, who contested with the Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, stood tall on different digital platforms, enjoying a huge traffic that came from residents of Lagos and beyond. The pharmacist, alongside a few other politicians, was credited for some of the innovations that shaped online campaign during the elections. For instance, he was credited for popularising the use of hangout, an online interview forum. The platform, which he used regularly, gave him an opportunity to bring journalists and other members of the public together for an interaction. On both Twitter and Google+, his hangout sessions enjoyed an overwhelming participation as the discussion often went viral. Several people signed up to exchange ideas with him and seek clarifications. He was also among the few candidates whose Twitter and Facebook accounts were verified, meaning that his posts were considered more credible than others that were published on unverified pages. Perhaps, that gave the leverage he enjoyed online. Apart from the social media, his website, which was updated hourly, attracted a tremendous traffic. Most importantly, the former governorship candidate demonstrated that he understood the essence of social media – he was engaging. For those who found time to tweet to him and ask him questions on Facebook, there were, in many cases, responses from Agbaje. Not many candidates, from different parts of the country, created time for a real-time engagement with their followers. His YouTube videos, which were regularly uploaded during campaigns, recorded thousands of views in a matter of days after they were released. Again, the quality of his video content and the consistency set him apart from the crowd of politicians. But all that is history today. In fact, in the past three months, Agbaje has abandoned the same platforms that gave him so much visibility during his campaign. There is no tweet. There is no Facebook update. And there is no post on its website. Those who visit his frozen jimiagbaje.com are welcomed with the sensational April 15 message – “Thank you Lagos. I know that a lot has been said following the declaration of the governorship election of our great state. As you may have already heard, I have called Ambode to congratulate him and wish him well. “It would be unfair, however, not to also thank all of you who invested your time and energy to support our cause. “To my fellow Lagosians, especially those who stood by our campaign team all the way, I want to thank you. The passion that you have brought into this democratic process and your participation are not in vain. “On the contrary, because you have made your voices heard in this election, in the final analysis, win or lose, our dear state will be the better for it…” For those who would need to review his campaign documents, the site is not accessible beyond the welcome message that has taken over the home page. Already, Agbaje may have been unfollowed by some tweeters. He had recorded over 30,000 followers before the election. But as of Thursday, he had 29,100 followers. He is still following 29 handles, most of which are news channels. The most recent update on his Facebook page was published on April 15. And it was the same “thank you” message that was duplicated on both Twitter and the website. Agbaje’s Facebook is currently followed by 216,000. Reviews, which he regularly received from his followers, hardly come now. Source: http://www.punchng.com/i-punch/jimi-agbaje-missing-in-action/ Cc: lalasticlala

The Osun State House of Assembly is divided over the composition of an ad hoc committee to investigate the allegations of financial recklessness levelled against Governor Rauf Aregbesola by Justice Folahanmi Oloyede. Oloyede, a serving judge in Osun State Judiciary, had written a petition to the House against the governor asking the lawmakers to impeach him based on the allegations contained in her petition. The Speaker of the House, Mr. Najeem Salaam, on Thursday inaugurated a seven-man committee headed by the Deputy Speaker, Mr. Akintunde Adegboye. He stated that they had two weeks to investigate the matters and report back to the House. Although the ruling All Progressives Congress has 24 lawmakers out of the 26 members in the House, none of the two Peoples Democratic Party lawmakers was included in the committee. When asked why the House excluded lawmakers from the opposition party in the committee, the Speaker explained that the House of Assembly was one as there was no division among the legislators along party lines. The Speaker said that it would be necessary for the petitioner and the governor to appear before the committee which would sit in camera. He expressed the confidence that the committee would do a thorough job and send their report to the House where every lawmaker would have an opportunity to comment on their findings. He said, “I acknowledge that the whole world is waiting for what we have to do with the petition forwarded to us by Justice Folahanmi Oloyede. I must disclose to you that Governor Rauf Aregbesola has obliged us his response to the petition and we have constituted a committee to look into the matter with a view to investigating the allegations levelled against him and I am confident that the honourable men in this committee would do justice to the matter before them without fear or favour. “The House stands as one; there is no opposition in the House. We are one, we see ourselves as one. “The two of them – the judge and the governor – will be invited separately. Some of them can employ the services of lawyers but their physical appearance will be necessary. This will allow them to give evidence to back up their positions if they have any.” But the Minority Leader, Mr. Oladejo Makinde, a PDP member, who represents Ife Central at the House, kicked against the exclusion of the members of the PDP from the committee. While speaking with journalists after the inauguration of the committee, Makinde said he disagreed with the explanation of the Speaker, saying there was no way the ‘lopsided committee’ would be transparent against Aregbesola who is also from the ruling party. khassy:Boss. I'm good. I still dey, gonna be here till resumption. MTN network is nt dat gud for my side that's why my number is nt reachable. If u can't get those materials b4 u traveled, gonna keep them for u. |
elieasy1: Donabydeco:Good evening here, well I don't know how many candidates were admitted in CHE but I'm very sure they can't admit 962. It is just a department with 1 program and not faculty or a department with more than one program such as department of Agriculture with CPT, AEF, AGY, ANP and AXR. Nevertheless it would be less than 100 sha. |
It's been a long time here. i Rep ICS |
4 years excluding Architecture that is 6 years. |
Thanks. |
khassy:lol |
Torilo:Sorry ma'am |

EINSTEINPG:Yes, all issues are debatable for all the sound people for the purpose of clarification which is necessary inorder to set the said issues straight. For the benefit of the op, I respect your opinion on d topic and also to close down the topic. Thanks for the engagement. |
EINSTEINPG:Thanks for the sound reply. Nevertheless it will be necessary to point out the fact that practical courses been attached to a programme of study doesn't make it practicable in the real life(life after leaving d four corners). Also, the fact that they were been equipped with laboratory and transferable skills hasn't proven to me that they are unavoidable in the real health sector(not talking about four walls of the university). Few courses are studied without atleast just a practical course but are they all practicable in the real life expecially in Nigeria? Yes, it is a stand-alone programme in the university but what of after the university, is it a stand-alone career outside academics field also? Theory in the text simply refer to "the main principles and ideas in science as opposed to the practice of actually doing it" Thanks for the enlightenment. |
Jammy2012:No problem with d clearance, you will be cleared soon. For the course, you are coming in for Geophysics and not Architecture. I assumed JAMB gives admission to people based on their UTME score and course choosed in the exam but school admission superced that of JAMB. So embrace d Geophysics, it is a new course and you guyz will be the first set. All is well. |
bolakismet: Plz i need urgent answers! I scored 221 and 54 in jamb and post jamb. I apply for biz edu unilorin. I was given provision admission but i was not cleared due to incomplete ssce. In my ssce i have eng math agric geography econs phy and chem all at credit level. But i think they are requesting for arts subject which i dont have. Plz what do ya tink the outcome may be?I'm sorry guy, just take heart. With the O'level result u posted, it is obvious that you are a science student. The five o'level subjects required for business education are: Mathematics, English, Economics and any two of Accounting, Business Methods, Commerce, Geography and Government. So, it is obvious that ur O'level result is incomplete because you have maximum of four required subjects(Mathematics, English, Economics and Geography) except Economics that is business related subject others are general and social sciences subjects. Also, as a science student you could av applied for Mathematics or Physics Education or Geography Education if you are nt interested in pure science anymore. With what u said it was written on ur portal "not cleared. Reason: Incomplete o'level", it would be safe to say you won't be moved to another department but rather accept that u are out of d race or better still make it down to the admission office. NOTE: Five O'level subjects related to your proposed course of study are very important. |
@ EINSTEINPG. Sorry for this post, just my own personal position on BMS(Anatomy and Phyiology expecially) as a discipline. Course of study is not proportional to being a successful man in life because B.Sc itself (and other equivalents) is not a guarranttee to successful life bt education itself has more to offer than wealth(riches in particular) that majority of the Nigeria students aim. Physiology as a field of study is as good as you've written it up there but is that not like a theoretical aspect of a study? Have u you taken time to study the the body(ies) and journals of this body(ies)? Students' Physiological Asoociation of Nigeria (SPAN)?? Physiological Society of Nigeria (PSN)? Who are their lecturers in the tertiary institutions? To my own best knowledge, theoretically, physiology is of great importance to human medicine but what of if it should stand alone? As you've a good write up there for human physiology likewise u will get it done for plant physiology(it's a course in FUNAAB) if the need arise. Course of study is not what really matters for achievement in life (If those that are not educated at all can make it, education should be added advantage.)but personal enthusiasm. Note: an action is good if it benefits someone and an action is bad if it harms some one but act utilitarianism is the belief that an action is good if its overall effect is to produce more happiness than unhappiness i.e. It benefit more people. Just personal opinion on the topic. |
khassy: Alpet even if nobody see you... I sight ya.... Hw ya dey doin?Boss.... I lay low |
