Hello everyone. i applied to a UK school but i did not declare that i had a prior visa refusal from the US because the school does not give admission to people that declare previous refusal and i have paid tuition deposit. should i maintain it during my visa application or should i declare it? will my visa be denied if i declare?

Please, is the physical UK visitor visa sticker on the passport sufficient to fly directly from Lagos to London, or a UKVI account needs to be created and visa stickers linked on the system? U should have 3 million and Ur husband as d sponsor should have at least 10million in his account.. u will include his bank statement to ur application

Good morning, pls I want to apply for UK visa,it won't be my first but I haven't applied for one in over 10years,my recent travel history is to the US and I have a valid 5yrs visa which I got last year. My husband would be my sponsor and I would stay with any of my sibling while there. My issue is my bank statement, my monthly earning is about 250 -300k which I get paid from our family business. I receive 500k monthly from my husband to run the home.My questions are; how many months bank statement do I need to submit and would the amount in my account matter since my husband is sponsoring me, if yes, pls like how much should I have? We have 3 kids but I would be going alone. I realise most refusals are due to finance and that has been d discouraging factor since but I want to give it a try. Thanks in advance for your reply🙏

Yes,,they can withdraw the CAS if u don't do d interview.... Schools are tightening CAS issuance... D interview is not difficult... Try and get answers to key questions like
Y u chose d UK

Y u chose ur university

Did u consider other schs and what do they have that could be better

How will u decide on getting an accomodation

Do u consider it proper to meet with people while schooling

Y this course

Do know d hours to work as a student


Have u be refused visa b4

What's ur future plan

What did you achieve in sch in d past

Hello, So a friend of mine after getting cas got a mail from the University for credibility check, lol, she was happy she didn't do interview before getting CAS, only for her to get a mail for interview after Cas has been issued. Is it a normal thing? And should she be scared?

I think d problem u have is convincing them of ur return back to Nigeria... Home ties stuff... Cuz they know u surely using it as japa route

Apart from doing priority, what other measure did u take to get a faster visa decision.... Did u include a cover letter to explain anything

I’m also here for my sister.

She couldn’t meet up with January due to delay in visa processing.
Did biometrics priority service 9th of June, got SLA not met email and unable to process within the published time email the following day.

We are truly hoping on God like this.

Thank God for a successful visa application for a sibling after weeks of waiting and twice contacing UKVI via their paid enquiry service. Biometrics and visa application at the vfs was done on 5/5/2026, and since then the wait, with no updates whatsoever except for the automated message about not able to make a visa decision within the normal processing time

Keep your hopes alive and stay positive. If visa decision is outside normal processing times, contact UKVI via their paid enquiry service with a strong convincing message about your case. It costs only £2.74.

I wish everyone still awaiting a decision a successful one. For those yet to apply, always know that honesty is the best policy, be honest all the way, if any issues, just explain with a cover letter (with a good prompt on any ai, ai can help draft it for you). You will always remember the truth, but a lie will elude you with time.

We have answered this many times here,,d same 28days POF for CAS can immediately be used for visa application as soon as CAS is available... While waiting for CAS be preparing ur all documents needed for d visa application... Where explainations are needed,, provide cover letters

The implication is with visa application I will need pof for almost 2 months plus taken into account 28 workings before issuance of CAS and then around 3 weeks for visa application? Anyone has experience with this?

U have to save their email confirming your withdrawal. U might need to add it to ur next application and add a cover letter to explain what happened

My own is showing application decided on the date I withdrew omo ukvi dey confuse person oh , d day dey recorded my withdrawal is on my e visa ukvi portal as refused but the only thing they sent me was this withdrawal mail below and no decision email , I don't know if it's because I withdrew through Sheffield escalation/extra document email, funny thing is I didn't notice till 2 weeks ago, the day I sent thw withdrawal email to Sheffield was February 10 th because I noticed they kept working on my application even after withdrawing through ukvi portal February 6th and then the next day they sent me withdrawal confirmation email,

Now here's what my ukvi account currently looks like, carrying the same date I withdrew my application as refused

And the reason I took such measures by emailing Sheffield direct was because school cancelled CAS on that 10th and I don't want them deciding on an application CAS was cancelled on

The issue is sch and UKVI will surely ask for work reference,,,I don't know how u can scale that... Experience will make tinz easier

U only need d same 28 days for both... After the 28 days of getting CAS,,go ahead and apply for visa... U just have to make sure all that is required for the visa application is ready as u wait for CAS

Good mornings guys I have an unconditional offer from university of Brighton and I want to pay my deposit but I noticed from the cas page I’m suppose to also upload statement of account on the page so as to get cas does that mean I need keep funds for 28 days to get cas and another 28 days to get visa after getting my cas. I’m new here so I don’t know if this question has been answered already but I’m confused about this thanks

I successfully withdrew too wasn't given any decision but it was recorded in my ukvi account so I wanted to know those who created ukvi account then and link ed their passport if they could see the previous application when they login , my account still carries my withdrawal date
