U should have done that...bkos sometimes it's like some attached documents don't appear to them,, sometimes u get to wonder d decision they give some people even though documents were attached

I did not acknowledge it on the additional information section, but i uploaded it as evidence and also added it to my cover letter.

Did u make all these acknowledgements on the additional information section of UKVI website or u just attached it as a document on VFS application?

Good morning everyone,
I applied for a visit visa for my mum, but it was denied, I have attached the refusal letter. They stated that her outgoing was more than what she declared, but they refused to consider the monthly allowance I normally send to her, I declared this during application, they also stated no family ties, I declared that her husband, my sisters and her mother currently reside in Nigeria, but they refused to acknowledge that too.
Should I reapply or go for PAP. Thanks

Another thing u can do is type d content of ur cover letter into the last section of ur UKVI website where they ask u to provide additional information.... Then upload ur SOP into ur VFS application with ur other documents.... Especially if ur SOP is too long,, break the information into 2 parts,,use one part as additional information and upload the other part

Been reading silently and following up with timelines, so I felt to share to encourage others.

Biometrics: July 1st
Approval: July 9th about 3pm
Study gap: 12 years
Program: MSc
No previous visa refusal

Documents submitted:
- Employment letters and payslips for 3 months
- Cover letter (explaining what I do, reason for study and how it would benefit my career, and how I selected the university/country). May not have been required, but I wanted to make my application as clear as possible
- Professional qualification certificates
- University certificate
- CAS email
- IELTS (only because I had it)
- Bank statement

Happy to answer any questions, and I wish the very best of luck to those waiting

Which kain interviewer.... Pre CAS interview is a recorded interview coming from an AI machine... U can take d interview any time.... Nobody is at d back end waiting for u

Did she do SAR(Subject Access Request) to find out what went wrong with her application... Alot of people just reapply for visa without finding out what went wrong

No all schools use WAEC as their English test, some use your BSC Certificate to access your English

U can only do that if u are considering different countries... Doing 2 deposits in d same country is like putting all eggs in one basket

The point is not everyone puts their eggs in one basket even that at that level, many are looking at multiple migration pathways, not unsual. & the schools know this also.

Trust me, not everyone that pays deposit follows through. I have paid deposit to a Uni in the EU and forfeited it because something I considered better eventually came through.

Can u get CAS without paying deposit? So d person will pay deposit at 2 schools and be watching what,,I don't understand

Sounds to me like they probably have more applicants than available places on some programmes and are trying to whittle down applicants who may not be fully committed or who don't see the university as their first choice.

If you've been issued a CAS but didn't submit your visa application shortly afterwards, the university could interpret that as a sign that you're keeping the offer as a backup and may not actually intend to enrol.

It could also suggest that, despite indicating you meet the requirements, you're not yet in a position to make a successful visa application which could affect their sponsorship licence.

I guess the purpose of the interview is to give applicants an opportunity to explain the reason for the delay in applying.

Add 200k to ur balance and retry.... Better still go to ur bank

My CAS clearly stated my scholarship of £3,000 and tuition deposit of £4,000. This was a mistake from the visa officer. I don’t know what he/she was thinking

Ur CAS did not state ur scholarship,,u should have asked for an updated CAS showing ur scholarship b4 visa application,,, that was a costly mistake,, very sorry about that

I haven't been in the best of moods since last night as I got a refusal mail for my Student Visa, from UKVI yesterday, Even though I have accepted my fate and trying to move on, I still feel cheated by UKVI.

I applied in December for January intake but I had to withdraw my visa application in February due to approaching Cas deadline. And now I deferred to September intake

Biometrics - 23rd June
Refusal mail- 2nd of July
Reason for refusal: incorrect bank statement calculation. So the visa officer didn't deduct my global scholarship of £3,000 from my POF, he only removed my tuition deposit and my required funds was below the minimum due to that error. I already applied for an administrative review today and l'd keep you guys updated .

We are saying the same thing.... U and I know what is done to prove source of funds,,but for it to be spelled out in public is what I'm talking about.... D guy should enter DM and get d information he needs,,not here...HE SHOULD NOT COME TO MY DM OOO...ABEG

U want a sensitive information like that in public,,, what if UKVI finds this comment here on Naira land? They will ban Nigerians from coming.... Abeg nobody should drop such information here.... Go to DMs and discuss there

I've been following your thread since December last year, how your sister was asked source of funds as additional documents, and now you're asked that too
Pls what evidence did you and your sister use for source of funds, I mean what document did you submit, you said your sis submitted land sale in her name, how about you, was it also the same thing
Lastly what questions were you asked during the interview since you said they later asked for additional documents of your source of funds after the interview
I'm really rooting for you, cos I was just reading from that January thread and I was devastated by how they treated you, asking you for additional documents 10th week, literally days before your final enrolment
I'll be glad if you could provide all these answers please
