I think u should count 21 working days from d day u were asked to submit source of funds.. Although it might be less than 21 working days

Just did a paid call,,so I did my biometrics on 16th December...

Here are my shocking findings... D lady says my file got to their desk on the 22nd of December and that I have to wait for 21 working days to get a decision,,,if I don't get a decision in dat time,,I can then call to escalate it... So all ds while we have been told it's 15working days whereas it's actually 21 working days.... May God help us all

Try ur luck... Put money back into ur POF account... Use ur POF and also use ur investment certificate in ur visa application.... Add a cover letter stating wat happened

Hello guys please this is urgent!!!

Please can I use an investment certificate from a micro finance bank for my POF instead of a personal statement of account in my Visa application ?

I had issues with the previous POF I was running as the money went out of my bank account untimely thereby rendering it useless.

As it stands I’m against time to start a new POF because I’m for January intake and I’m late already.

I was told I could just use an investment certificate in cases like this…. But I read somewhere UKVI doesn’t accept financial documents from micro finance banks.

I intend to run Priority Visa.

Please I need your advice as the only other available option for me is deferment.

Me that have more than 10years study gap,,I still gave them employment history with reference letters yet I'm still waiting ooo.... What's my offense now?

This study gap issue I keep hearing,,,I don't understand.... University will not reject ur application if u have more than 10years study gap,,they will gladly collect ur money,,,but wen it gets to issuing visas,, study gap concerns are raised

Wat happened to hiring Chopper.... Imagine using such tight security to convey 2 Oyibo from airport to site.... D coaster bus can still work later doing minor shuttles but for those 2 high profile Oyibos,, for just that instance Chopper would have been best

It's not economical flying chopper everytime expats and guests fly into town. Chopper can carry few people also.

The coaster on the other hand can carry as much as 20 different people who fly in around the same time. And the security guys are retained by the company on allowances which is cheap compared to buying a chopper, retaining pilots and servicing the chopper regularly.

She must be wondering how u survived all of that and still managed to keep ur sanity to become what u are today.

In 2024 I was in PH, on the way from the airport we were in a convoy with one German and one American national who are expat consultants to our company. The coaster bus we were in was bulletproof o and we had one hilux full of armed soldiers as lead escort while another hilux filled with armed Mobile police officers was following closely behind us.

Despite the level of security, the moment our driver observed the bus was giving him funny signs and he parked, come and see the way those expats were jittery. Seems they've been told how kidnapping is rampant in Nigeria particularly in the Niger Delta. You could clearly see the horror on their face right from the moment the driver stopped to check the vehicle till we continued our journey. We the Nigerians in the bus were not even bothered because we know nobody is coming to face that much security detail in a gun duel but the white guys were not calm at all.

Some of those negative news always keep foreign nationals on their toes while in Nigeria.

That should be date to begin orientation and verification exercise... Classes should be in February... My school resumed orientation yesterday and I'm still waiting for visa with SLA that came last week

That's d problem.... D tin is that some of Dem in sch now will default payment deadline for first tuition installment and will be sent packing,,some given visas may not travel some may not finish their program after gone far.... All these uncertainties makes Universities overshoot their admission numbers so that they don't lose at d end

If this is the issue then they should be giving universities quota of students to accept per academic calendar, once the quota is filled they should stop giving people admission. Because I don't know why they will let someone pass through all the stress and spending when they know they will only accept a certain number of applicants.

I suspect slots are almost filled up and still many applications on ground.... Like my department there were 65 students already on campus for orientation yesterday when I was thinking they will be scanty... Mind u some are those that deferred admission from 2024,,some are those who have been living in UK

But what’s confusing me now is that when I googled last night I found out that of a truth a federal sponsored applicant going for master taught program can bring in dependents .
I just wanted to be sure if anyone has seen or heard of any successful federal sponsored applicant

From what I was told yesterday,,there were 65 persons that took part in orientation in my department,,,I was shocked to hear it.... Few more are joining them b4 next week..... Among them some got their admission in 2024 and deferred to 2025.... Some others have been in the UK already

So I don't know now if UKVI has a quota of visas they issue to different departments in different schools probably what is delaying some of our international student visas...
