I don't understand this. My major grouse with NYSC has always been with putting square pegs in round holes. It's like a 1 year waste. If you put an engineering graduate that studied chemical or civil engineer or a graduate lawyer or medical doctor or even an accountant and you turn them to farmers, does this make sense at all?
There is no NYSC in U.S and U.K and in many developed countries yet they're still buoyant today. What is the purpose of NYSC other than to introduce avenues to defraud. We all know all this talk of Agriculture is just lip service. Let me ask a simple question. Ever since government started posting corp members to only the public sector, how has this helped Nigeria?

u already said it developed countries,not everything that works in Britain and the U.S cant work here all this developed countries strives for decades ,century .moreover any engineering course can be applied to agriculture and what is the big deal about the courses is it not cram pour pass and u re still comparing us with U.S and the likes. The religion crisis on NL is beyond normal up to the extent that you seeing a prof behaving like an illeterate and student insulting someone who is enough to be is lecturer ,this made me think of how to help in this case and came about using scientific fact of the two books(Qur'an & bible) 2.prophet mension in both books 3.
