BusinessRe: Lady Calls Out Fidelity Bank Over Failure To Return Money After Failed Transfer by amagzy: 7:55pm On Jun 03, 2016
NEHLIVE:
An angry customer has just accused Fidelity Bank Nigeria of defrauding her after the bank zapped her money while making an online transfer that failed since last year December.

Here is how she put it as she reached out to Splendormag;

“I have tried everything i could but it seems i'm powerless to get help, and that’s why i’m reaching out to you. Please Splendormag, kindly help me spread this message out through your platform. I made a transfer last December to a UBA bank customer via an online transfer. I got a debit alert to that effect. But the person i transferred the money to did not receive the money. I went to Fidelity to complain about the issue and sent several emails but they kept tossing me around. They were clueless about the problem. After trying to get them to refund my money to no avail, they told me that i have to go and bring the statement of account of the person i was trying to transfer the money to. Now please, why must i ask a stranger i was trying to transact business with to give me their statement of account when my bank cannot even show me in my transaction history that i actually transferred money to the person? I only brought an item from the person and wanted to balance my payment. Please help me out, im sick and tired of this bank. It’s such a shame that this is bank that always boast of keeping their words, but they are nothing close to keeping their words at all. Imagine, since December last year. im really angry right now.”

That was how the Fidelity bank customer who has now become a victim wrote it. Pictured is also the screengrab of parts of her conversation with the bank’s staff, she sent to us.

24-48 hours was what Fidelity promised her, it's now about 2000 hours. Can anyone relate to this experience?

Try to get a lawyer to write them a demand letter, and if they fail to refund after a stipulated period of time. you can take them to Court n make a lot of money as damages.
AgricultureRe: Preserve Fresh Tomato Paste For A Year (no Refrigeration Or Preservatives) by amagzy: 7:05pm On Jun 01, 2016
vanpeele:
Hi everyone,

I'm happy to see how everyone's crying for the "common" tomato. Most people (wey get sense) will start preparing for next year by either farming, gardening, or preserving.

My first thread was on very cheap farming but here's another for preserving our darling tomato when it becomes cheap again.

With this method, one can store fresh tomato paste for over a year but guaranteed 1 year, that's if everything's done right.

What you need are
1. Tomato
2. Jam jar (it must be the sort you see in the pics....plastics won't work at all)

Step 1.
Blend your tomato or take it where it's grinded in bulk (you don't have to squeeze the water out unless it's spoilt)

Step 2
Put the blended tomato in a pot (small or big depending on the amount blended). Boil the tomato till all it's water has evaporated and has become paste (try not to let it burn).

Step 3
Let it cool down. Scope some paste into a jam jar till it's filled up, then seal it properly with its cap.

Step 4
Put the sealed tomato paste in a pot of water till it's completely submerged. Allow the pot of water to reach boiling point, then leave to boil for 10-15 mins (don't worry...it won't break). Take them out of the pot and allow to cool. Put then in cartons and store in a cool dry place. No need for fridge. #Shikenan

PLEASE NOTE:
1. No matter the amount of jam jars you put in the pot of water, MAKE SURE THEY'RE COMPLETELY SUBMERGED BEFORE BOILING.

2. JAM JARS WHICH KNIVES WERE USED TO OPEN THEM WON'T WORK. Only normally opened jam jars would work because they're still air tight.

3.Once you open the jar, use the amount you need then refrigerate.

Feel free to ask questions.
Can one use a plastic air tight container to preserve the tomatoes too?

It may be true... it's 150 days in 5 months and they sleep with at least four men a day... multiple 150 with 4 and see for yourself. Minus their menstruation days. May God help women living that kind of life.

Listening to a rhythm 97.radio programme,, kids were being interviewed and it came to this part, what do u want to be when u grow up? The four of them their answers,..
1. lawyer (defend my cun3ri)
2. doctor (help people)
3. soldier (defend the DIGNITY of my cun3ri, cudnt stop loling)
4. banker..... Cnt remember the reason

Then I remembered mine. A young Black boy with dreams of wanting to find the cure of Aids, nt until my Maths teacher made me h8 Maths so bad that i dropped without a 2nd thought, then I asked my brother, he blurted out 'banker' i cudnt stop laughing when I remembered that my bros and anything arithmetrics were enemies...

So people, what were those glorified childhood dreams of yours and how many actually made them happily ever after.
It has always being my dream to be a Lawyer as well as get to the pick of this profession. To the Glory of God, I made it, as a matter of fact, I'm typing this message from the Courtroom. And I believe that God is not done with me yet. please don't give up on ur dreams and don't stop dreaming.

HealthRe: She Hid Her Hiv Status From Her Hubby For 5yrs by amagzy: 2:04pm On Apr 20, 2015
omicron:
I have had similar experience. The wife hid her HIV positive status from the husband till her death, and we as doctors learnt that at the point of her death. She still insisted no one should tell him. She died few hours after.

As a doctor, you should always ask an HIV positive person the people she has confided in regarding her status, and whom she would want you to disclose to. Whenever possible, this should be in writing.

No doctor has a right or duty to divulge any patient's information to another person, no matter how "close", even when the patient is dead. Unless in a case where non-disclosure of such information poses danger to the community...eg Ebola, lassa fever, etc.

The modern physician's Oath is there in my display pic
In these particular situation such information between the doctor nd d woman is no longer privileged bcoz d husband's life is in danger. The doctor can disclose such an information to d husband to check his status becoz he's most likely to b infected wit d virus as well.

Ugochukwu means Gods pride. Not Gods grace. God's grace is Ebere Chukwu- Gods grace or Gods mercy
God's grace is not Ebere Chukwu. God's Grace can only mean Amarachukwu.
