Would have it scanned this week.was wondering if the generic OBD II scanners would work on a peugeot 406

I have received your mail.Problem is that aside the Isuzu Rodeo,i also use a 2004 Peugeot 406,can it work on Peugeot,my electrician said Peugeots have special scanners.ucheamaizu@yahoo.com

Its a known issue on the Rodeo,change your fuel sending unit.you need to bring the fuel tank down to locate it.

Pity,i'm in Enugu.Really wished it was one of those times you come down to the east.I'll try see what i can do and keep you posted

Ikenna,aside the hunting,i also noticed that on revving,my 406 brings out black smoke.i couldn't make out which ones are vacumm hoses but i'll look it up online.

Ikenna,pls i own a 2004 Peugeot 406(Nigerian assembly).Its the 1.8L version.On idling,it tends to rev up and down.The exhaust sounds as if it has a leak but there is no leak on it.My mechanic suggested replacing the fuel filter and plugs.What do you think?

This is definitely not a 2002 Peugeot 406.

Your post is bare.What are the features of this car.engine condition,factory fitted ac,cloth or leather etc.Granted,an inspection would be the proper thing to do,but a full post would enable one form an informed preliminary opinion.Regards.

Can you help with Peugeot 406

Problem is that i have returned to Enugu where i reside.

Really thought it was going to be as simple as what i have seen them do with Honda radio codes.Peugeot parts dealer?,thats another 5-10k gone.

I bought a 2006 PAN Assembly Peugeot 406.Strangely this car came with a radio cassette player.I have changed this with a Clarion 406 CD player which i bought from Ladipo,problem is that the radio keeps beeping.Does Peugeot 406 have radio unlock codes.How can i unlock and enjoy this radio.I will appreciate informed advice.
