Anyone has information on cost of 12.5kg cooking gas |
Followed the advice here and tried around 1am and successfully applied and have my acknowledgement slip. However it requires trying many times. I was able to do a password reset and got a mail to change my password. This was also a way to bypass the confirmation mail which never came. As we speak the site is going.... please try again.

IF I WAS A FULLTIME HOUSEWIFE, WHO ISNT VERY TECHY, BUT ABLE TO RAISE 50k TO START A BUSINESS- WHAT WOULD I DO? I see a lot of people make this mistake so I thought to teach about it. If you do not have a lot of capital or skill and you want to start a business to make some money to survive, you must first build a list of things that you should NOT consider: 1. No buying and selling (everyone is doing buying and selling, they do not know it is business for the rich. Only a rich man should tie down money.) 2. No business that has small margins (no one-one kobo business) 3. No tying down money on inventory (not enough money to buy goods and be looking at the goods) 4. No focusing on selling to only family and friends (forget them from day one) 5. No multi-level marketing (No time to bring two people) 6. No production of any kind (No time to fry Chinchin and be making 10 Naira) 7. No non-essentials (sell what people need everyday not shoe and bag) 8. No non-consumables (sell only what the customers keep coming back frequently because it has finished) Again, there is nothing wrong with the things listed in 1 to 8 above; but you cannot venture into them at this time. No! You only do those when you have more trading capital. So, what would I do if I had only 50k to start a business and survive on it? I would do any of these: 1. Service-based business like braid someone’s hair and make 5k 2. Act as a middle man and sell items that other people own. Example - Take pictures of nice parlour decorations from a major interior deco importer, and sell at a margin 3. Find rich single ladies in my neighborhood and offer to help them do weekend cleaning. Why single ladies? Because I want a small house that allows me finish the work on time and serve other clients, so I earn more 4. Sell a single type of cooked food in massive quantity. Example - Only beans or only sweet jellof rice or only moimoi or only indomie Listen please - If you do not have a lot of capital, you do not just jump into any business like the rest. You need to give yourself time to think. Think about what? - Think about the profit - Think about the speed at which that thing sells - Think about the speed at which you will leave poverty - Think about the speed at which a customer will come back to buy again - Think about the speed at which my money will turn over Sister, poverty is not a lack of money o. It is lack of knowledge. Please seek knowledge and liberate yourself. I love you! #chiomasbusinessschool ...Copied... |

ladyteeks:How did this go eventually, would love to know. Kindly share. |
Bimpsyyyyy:huh? I assume typo. But I reject it!!! |
Dijita:Thanks and very useful advise. Readjusting plans right away. Most grateful. |
Dijita:Good question! What the builder told me is that they prepare two drawings, one for approval and another for construction. The design is amended after approval. At worst you pay fine for changes. That's tricky though. Please share your counter opinion or advise as the case may be. Thanks for stopping by also. |
Chekitaut:Around 28m x 5.5m |
Chekitaut:Surulere |
Good development |
michlins:Maybe you could give it a week or two when stock will be replenished.. Except if you are in need of it urgently, buying in smaller quantities or the cost of delays outweighs waiting for the price to settle. IMHO |
factorsp:It wasn't just stopping production, I learnt the truck drivers stopped after they were attached during the protest and that shot up the price since demand grew and supply was scarce. |
saydfact:Most grateful sir |
raymondFirstborn:Done. Much appreciated sir |
Good morning Engineers and QS in the house. Kindly help a sister with the estimate for this commercial build. Location is Lagos. I need bulk pack figure for each stage of the contract. Suggested breakdown could be: 1. Foundation/Substructure 2. Superstructure 3. Slab 4. Roofing 5. Mechanical/Electricals/Plumbing 6. *Finishing (Intetnal) 7. **External Finishing 8. Building Approval/community settlement *Finishing includes _Windows, Doors, Burglar Bar, Borehole, Overhead tank, Ceiling, Balustrades etc._ **External Finishing includes _Septic tank, Interlocking tiles, Fence, Gate, Gatehouse..._ 1. The build is sitting on a half plot. 2. This is expected to be a commercial project and ROI is key. So responsible cost cutting advice is welcome. 3. This is a crowdfunded project hence the need to clarify cost to non-technical members cc: saydfact, rotech77, abdulwastecx, raymondFirstborn, KolaShangOne, spyder880, segcymoore, QSFemi etc.
