TrustworthyQ:Rad colleague nice to meet u... how's been like so far? |
Radiography is one of the best course u can study in Nigeria and can practice anywhere in the world. There are lot of job opportunities. Five years is enough for u to get Bsc Radiography or B.rad (depending on the school). For Bsc Radiography it mostly classified I.e first class, second class etc but B.rad isn't classified ( meaning no class of degree and u need to pass all ur courses with nothing less than 50%. You earn B.Rad after five years of study and it's a non classified degree in my sch. it means there's no first class or second class it is either u pass or fail. At ur 100level you take science courses like chemistry physics biology mathematics at the main campus with genetics and parasitology from the college. We take a total of 19 courses at our year 1. To move to the next class u are only allowed to fail a course, if u fail more than one u will repeat and remain in year 1. That's is if u have a 4.00CGPA and u only fail two courses out of ur total courses u repeat the year and take that two courses again in the next session in that same level(excluding general studies courses). |
Fellow radiography students, kindly share ur experiences on how radiography is in ur school. Mode of examination, What's the criteria for promotion and repeating? What modalities are you trained with? How are you coping ? What's the advise for new students ? pls feel free to share. I will kindly appreciate practicing radiographers words of encouragement. |
