This is the misconception most people get about medical students. They think u can only work in d hospital. In fact medical student work in all aspect of life eg a biochemist or microbiologist can work in d food industry, agricultural sector, oil company, enviromental rehabilitation, industrial chem, brewing etc as a pharmacist one can work as a food analyst, drug making company, forensic scientist etc. As a medical doctor, anatomist, physiologist, med lab,med rehad or even radiographar one can work with the police, forensic reserch, mortician etc. All these and many many more are the application of medical science but an engineer does not see past his screws and nuts so he would not understand.

As an environmental engineer, we have no biz with screws and nuts

I'm a 200L student of Environmental Engineering in UNIPORT. Lately I got into an argument with my medical friend. The premises of our argument was where we can work after graduation and how much we can offer to the society at large.
my points where as an Env Engr we can work virtually every where (hospitals, oil companies, construction companies etc) but a medical student is restricted to the hospital only.

Goodday my fellow nairalanders and my guests, I need an answer to this puzzling question I've been trying to understand.
Last two months (September), I met this girl in a class, I sat beside her, during the lecture I gave her one problem to help me solve and she did it correctly. So after the class, we started a discussion, in the course of the discussion we found out that we stayed close to each other then she insisted in knowing my house. I showed her my house and since then she'd been coming to visit me (some times she sleeps over).
From then we became very close up to the extent that we share secrets. Just last week, one thing led to another and we had sex, still that last week, we had sex two more times making it three times in one week.
After that, I've noticed she's been avoiding me (she's doesn't come to my house again, she rarely pick my calls). I'm still confused
NB: She was not a virgin and I was a virgin guy before the deed.

my friend, UPTH has beautiful structures but should be last in whatever ranking. A teaching hospital whereby surgery is carried out with nokia torch light, where the dreaded Ebola is breed and where some of their nurses are HIV positive shouldn't be a teaching hospital to start with. The school is another perplexing case.... I rest my case here!!....
