Dear Amazinglyqueer, I've been following your diary like my life depends on it. I've always had one or two things to pick up from each of your post and I want to thank you immensely..
Your analysis on the stages after being diagnosed is just apt and fearfully accurate.. my wife got stuck in the denial, anger and depression stage for too long.
She denied the result to the point of going to different hospitals to run the test and even thought of flying off to India.
She later directed all her anger at me after she knew that nothing can change the outcome of the test and blamed me viciously for her misfortune (disregard all the people saying under my post that she must have infected me thus she took it calmly).
Then the depressed stage kicked in, and I actually feared that I would come back one day and see her hanging from the ceiling in suicide.. Thank God that didn't happen.
After many excruciating months, she accepted and moved on.. and we moved on.. I cannot begin to tell you the number of things she destroyed in her depressed state. LoL.. They were all replaceable tho.

So, Thank you my dear and keep doing what you're doing.. Its time we start opening up.. one day at a time.

N.B: And if that guy messes up, don't worry, my younger bro is always ready and available..lol.. a very good lad.

I'm so emotional right now,I've been trying to pin down my thoughts on what people living with HIV(PLWHIV) go through,their challenges and all but just didn't have the nerve to do it as it could be emotionally draining atimes when you begin to think about the past and what you would have done differently. But that your post got me thinking really deep and i was like well*here's your time amazingly queer* Thank you outharryHIV,you inspired me. I like the fact that you ignored some questions that was personal,silence is golden you know!!! As for your wife I'm happy she overcame those stages,kudos to her. And for your younger bro*that got me laughing really hard you know* I will still keep my fingers crossed though,maybe just maybe......
