Youth are warming up.
Na so.

My people some times , i just feel like sad when I see the amount that leaves my account just to put food on the table.

It was so annoying, i almost ran out of a shop in anger when my total bill was calculated.

To buy Ovaltine in Tin, Peak milk powder is now looking like a project.

Working for your master as usual.

As you no dey buy garri for painter, you go just dey dey speak English.

Una increase school fees, creat student loan.

Increase fuel price wey affect food price, send palliative to same Nigerians.

Deception.... No vision, just dig a pot hole in the road then inaugurate a task force to fix it.

Never accept their mistake, whatsoever.
Ask Nigerians to endure, endure what exactly.

A higher price of rice 🍚 beans, garri, bread 🍞, pure water., petrol price, cooking gas.

It was the same scenario with my cousin who was dismissed together with his colleagues for fleeing whilst the rest of them were massacred during GEJ's reign. We thank goodness he is still alive and thriving in other endeavours.

He has made the right choice.
And he alone can tell the story.

People are hungry ?

Grammer no be food.

What measures have the government put in place to ease the burden of the average Nigerian.

Rice, Beans, Garri, Yam no longer within the reach of common man.

When a relationship goes bad for two people in a church, it usually impossible to find another lady from the same location.

You will end up creating enemies for the lady or the man.

Worshipping together with your ex, whom everyone knows about is difficult mentally.

My advice, is ladies should not play around with church brothers vise versa, unless the are truly committed to one another.

Also dating for eternity should be avoided in church settings.
It is marriages that should face trials and tribulation not courtship.

How is that related to the price of rice.

I pray that God speed up your own share of that plan this week. Say Amen.

The Nigeria Project.

What a Project ?

See how people celebrate capital flight.
People play politics without understanding consequences.

Ford started car manufacturer as a monopoly, then others followed in America.

Tata industries did the same in India.

Aramco, oil company of Saudi Arabia.

MTN played a huge role in developing the telecommunications industry.

Monopoly is meant to be a building phase. It is might prevent competition temporary but it transfers needed skills for critical sectors and reduces reliance on external factors.
Monopoly is the first phase of industrialization.
There was a time when only Coca-Cola was the dominating drink, the came PepsiCo.

My point is,the absence of an indigenous refinery means there are very few or almost little number of indigenous petrochemical engineers practicing, yet we have people studying these courses in the universities across almost all geopolitical location.

What do we do with them, when they graduate.

Do we turn our industrial complexes to museums for the unborn generation.

The manufacturing sector is an indication of a nation's development.

Taxation comes at the end of value chain not at the beginning.

But here in Nigeria, people pay taxes before setting up manufacturing processes, hence the high price of entry. Typical example is building a house in Lagos. It is a hurdle.

Manufacturing before taxation makes commerce cheaper, but taxation before manufacturing makes commerce expensive.

We are creating more poor people out of critical workforce i.e. graduates. There is no upward mobility of income for even an average graduate anymore. This is why everyone is moving out.

There were days where graduates buy cars after six months of resuming work. Now people work for years without pension.

We are losing the race against income inequality, security, food security, health and industrialization.

The Nigerian dream is looking like a nightmare for some.

People need to learn from history.
People are growing impatient.
There is a threshold to tolerance.
200 million angry people will be impossible for any system to handle if they insist.

We are not at war, we should not be starving

I rest my case, a word is enough for the wise.

Politics / Re: Peter Obi’s Motive To Destabilize The Country Is Clear’ – Presidency by amazingspiderma: 2:24pm On Jul 23
DeLaRue:
I agree.

He was so good with economy he didn't distinguish himself as a Governor.

He was so honest he hid millions of dollars in a foreign account under his daughter's name.

He is so into 'production, not consumption', his business is all about importing and selling things at his Abuja supermarket.

The man is a joke.

The real problem here is how you can be this hypocritical and expect your wife and children to trust you.

Hunger will open the eyes of the poor to learn how to hustle.

The thinking that everything revolves around God's will alone is the reason for poverty in Nigeria.

Now the price of bandage will increase in Nigeria.

Watch how government will capitalize on this trend and sign bandage tax into law.

The Speech!!!

Fellow Nigerians, we foresee a potential in the foreign direct investment as regards to bandages. Following the Trump assassination attempt last week we have seen a rise in demand for this precious commodity.

The government through the House of Representatives in currently sitting on the bill.

I assure you, it will grow our monthly allocation to the various states in the foreseeable future.

Why does this man want a religious war in Nigeria?

Does he have any idea how many millions of people will perish in such a conflict?

Was the civil war not enough for him?

Why does he want another war?

It’s incomprehensible to me how a presidential candidate can come up with such a suggestion.

Quite frankly he scares the hell out of me.

I don’t want any warmonger president occupying Aso Rock.

We have enough problems as a country.

Politics / Re: Economic Hardship: Street Begging Increasing In Kaduna, Katsina And Kano by amazingspiderma: 3:57pm On Jul 16
nairalanda1:

Personally thinking, we should have voted out APC last year. I mean it.

But would it have changed anything? NO. 99% of our revenue was going for debt service. Oil prices were not and are still not favoring us. If subsides were not cut...it would have been 190% of our revenue going to debt service.

The problem with NIgeria is we are a resource depdendent country, not a country that uses brain to soive its problems. That is why any revenue we make is dependent on how much crude costs in the international market....not on what we use our brain to make.

The Obi and PDP that you back is just like the same APC you bash. Both of them want to share oil money, not to actually devise polices that would take us off oil

At the end of the day, the problem won't change if we voted the way you wanted. Nigeria has been having economic problems for years because we all want to share money, not to use our resources to make things the world needs.

With the above narrative you can't exempt the Head of State from the crisis.

Even if you want to make a lopsided executive team, these set of serving appointments are politicians and not the best Nigerian has to offer.
Just mention any career technocrats on the list.
