PoliticsUrgent Attention In Oshodi-isolo Constituency Ii by amba1(op): 8:30pm On Jul 17
Oshodi–Isolo Constituency II stands as one of the most vibrant and strategically important areas in Lagos State.
With its rich commercial activities, dense population, and cultural diversity, the constituency holds immense potential.
As a people-centered House of Representatives candidate, the commitment of Hon. Lateef Erinfolami Olatunde (LEO) is to confront these issues head-on with practical, sustainable, and inclusive solutions.
One of the foremost challenges facing the constituency is infrastructure decay. Many roads within Oshodi–Isolo Constituency II are in poor condition, contributing to traffic congestion, increased transportation costs, and daily hardship for residents.
Drainage systems are either inadequate or poorly maintained, leading to frequent flooding during the rainy season. This not only disrupts economic activities, but also poses serious health risks.

Addressing these issues requires a coordinated effort to rehabilitate roads, expand drainage networks, and implement long-term urban planning strategies.
Another critical concern is youth unemployment and underemployment. Oshodi-Isolo Constituency II is home to a large population of energetic and talented young people, yet many lack access to meaningful employment opportunities.
This situation has contributed to rising social vices and economic frustration. Empowerment programs, vocational training, and support for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) must be prioritised to unlock the potentials of our youths and foster economic growth from within the community.
Healthcare access also demands urgent attention.
While there are health facilities in the area, many are under-resourced, understaffed, or inaccessible to the average resident.
The cost of healthcare remains a barrier for many families. Strengthening primary healthcare centers, ensuring availability of essential drugs, and supporting community health initiatives will significantly improve the well-being of residents.
Education infrastructure and quality must be looked into.
Overcrowded classrooms, insufficient teaching materials, and inadequate facilities hinder the learning process for many students.
Investing in education through school renovations, teacher support, and provision of learning resources is essential for building a brighter future for the next generation.
Security is a major concern.
While efforts have been made to maintain peace, residents still experience incidents of theft, harassment, and other forms of insecurity.
The strengthening of community policing, improving street lighting, and fostering collaboration between security agencies and local stakeholders will enhance safety and restore confidence among residents.

The issue of environmental sanitation and waste management continues to affect the constituency.
Improper waste disposal and irregular collection services contribute to unhealthy living conditions and environmental degradation.
A cleaner Oshodi–Isolo Constituency II requires stronger enforcement of sanitation laws, public awareness campaigns, and partnerships with waste management agencies.
The challenges facing Oshodi–Isolo Constituency II are significant, but not insurmountable.
They demand leadership that listens, understands, and acts decisively.
Hon. Lateef Erinfolami Olatunde (LEO) is a leader that listens and he is ready to transform these challenges into opportunities and create a constituency that works for everyone.

PoliticsRe: FG Renames Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway After Tinubu by amba1(m): 10:59am On Jul 17
It seems like the leadership doesn't understand the true meaning of purposeful leadership.
Leadership is not about self, but the people.
Roads mustn't be named after any individual or individuals before it becomes motorable,and/or accessible.
Let's check these roads as examples;
Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Benin-Asaba Expressway, Enugu-portharcourt Expressway, Akwanga-Jos-Bauchi-Gombe-Maiduguri Highway etc

PoliticsFathers As Nation Builders On Fathers Day by amba1(op): 7:42pm On Jun 21
Lateef Erinfolami Olatunde Felicitates with Fathers as Nation Builders on Father’s Day.

On this special Father’s Day, Lateef Erinfolami Olatunde extends his warmest felicitations and heartfelt gratitude to all the remarkable men who shoulder the noble responsibility of fatherhood.
Whether biological fathers, stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, mentors, or guardians — your unwavering love, guidance, sacrifices, and strength form the bedrock of our homes and communities.

As the candidate-elect of African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the Federal House of Representatives, Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 2,he has witnessed firsthand how strong families build strong societies.
Fathers, your daily acts of quiet heroism — waking up early to provide, staying up late to listen, teaching values of integrity, hard work, and resilience — are the true foundations of progress.

In his political vision, he prioritize policies that support and empower fathers: quality education for our children, accessible healthcare for families, economic opportunities that allow you to thrive, and safer communities where every child can grow under your protective care.
Fatherhood is leadership in its purest form.
It demands patience, wisdom, courage, and unconditional love — qualities we seek to emulate in public service.

Today, he celebrates you not just as fathers, but as nation-builders who shape the next generation of leaders, innovators, and responsible citizens.
Your role is irreplaceable. May this Father’s Day bring you joy, good health, and moments of deep appreciation from your loved ones.
May your efforts continue to yield fruits of pride and fulfillment for years to come.

Happy Father’s Day!
With respect and solidarity.

PoliticsNo Child Should Fight Alone – Reflections On World Sickle Cell Day by amba1(op): 6:13pm On Jun 19
Today 19th June, 2026, on World Sickle Cell Day, Lateef Erinfolami Olatunde (LEO) stands with every family battling sickle cell disease.
Your courage demands our action.

Sickle cell disease is not just a medical condition; it is a daily battle for families who live with chronic pain, frequent hospitalizations, and the constant fear of complications.
Children miss school, parents miss work, and entire communities carry the weight of this inherited blood disorder. In regions where it is most prevalent, too many bright futures are cut short or limited by a disease that deserves far greater attention, resources, and solutions.

As the House of Representatives candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC),Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 2 in the 2027 general elections,he commit to expanding research, improving access to care, and ensuring no one fights this battle alone. Awareness today, cures tomorrow.

To every warrior living with the sickle cell: You are seen. You are valued. Your strength inspires him to do better.
To the families who have lost loved ones: Your grief fuels his resolve to prevent future loss.
On this World Sickle Cell Day, let us renew our collective commitment to turning awareness into action.

As a candidate committed to the health and dignity of every citizen, Lateef Erinfolami Olatunde (LEO) stands in solidarity with every person living with sickle cell disease, their families, caregivers, and the dedicated medical professionals and researchers working tirelessly on their behalf. We must break the cycle of silence and neglect that has surrounded this condition for far too long

Together, we can build a future where no child suffers unnecessarily and where every family affected by sickle cell disease receives the care, and cure they deserve.
