Homosexuality is a mental disorder just like all other attractions to animals and in an I objects. The fact that it falls doesn't fall under those categories doesn't mean it isn't. I bet in a few years you would be asking why we can't accept people who sleep with animals after it is legalized in the USA.

Animals have been shown to indulge in homosexual activities, I read about one today where female koalas indulge in lesbian orgies. That means homosexuality occurs naturally in our environment, it is not the most represented sexual orientation in the population, but it is not an anomaly. Just like saying people that have blood group AB negative are not natural since they are so few in the population.
Scientists though agree on one thing, homosexuality is not a choice.
Pick up a textbook on history of sexuality and sexual psychology, it's eye opening.
