Oga , I'm not the author of the bible. I didn't add nor subtract anything from that verse. That verse said "Man". And like I told you there are no separate rules for pastors and floor members of a church. A christian is a christian. If God had said floor members marry one wife; you mischievous discord sowers would've come saying the rule is only for floor members and not pastors.

When God said A man shall leave his father and mother and shall cleave unto his wife and they two shall become one flesh, was he referring to elders. I understand Christianity isn't for the feeble minded so pls stick with atheism.

How exactly does Christianity reject science? You need to first ask yourself , what I'm about saying is it fact or fiction, so you don't go leading people astray.

There's no portion of the bible that says Christians should reject science. In fact the bible says "study to show thyself approved". Religious leaders are at liberty to say whatever and that has nothing to do with what Christianity. Do not tell me what religious leaders say, tell me what Jesus Christ says.

The right question you should have asked is "Christians can you die for the sake of Christ"? Do you now see the difference? A pastor has no business dying for his members.

A pastor is no different from a regular christian. In Christiandom everyone is equal. So it is not only the pastors that should be ready to lay down their lives for Christ but an average christian.

My own problem is that whenever I tell lies or commit any sin, it gets me down to the point I can no longer pray because I always feel I'm not good enough. I would have this feeling of hopelessness and something would tell me my prayers are a just a waste.
