2013/2014 PRE-ADMISSION SCREENING REGISTRATION INSTRUCTION FOR SECOND BATCH CANDIDATES

On the home page of the University of Ilorin website, click on 2013/2014 Pre-Admission Screening Procedure
All candidates are advised to click on Pre-Admission Screening Instructions and to carefully read the Registration Instructions:
Click on ADMISSION displayed on the left hand side of the screen
On Admission Menu displayed, click Pre-Admission Screening Instructions and read carefully.
Type in your JAMB Registration Number and SURNAME in the boxes provided. Carefully type in your JAMB Registration Number as any error committed will not allow the display of your details.
Thereafter,

UTME candidates should click on the Get Details button for your JAMB information;
DE candidates should click OK button on the dialog box displayed and enter your names; and
Click on Make Payment link to go to WEBPAY page. Note: UTME Candidates who are qualified for the course originally chosen can proceed to make payment by supplying the required information. However, UTME Candidates who are not qualified for the course originally chosen are advised to change their course as indicated on the payment page. Note the sum of N2,000 is charged for change of course.
Make Payment
Select your ATM card type (e.g Verve or Master Card)
Enter your Card Number
Enter Card Expiry Date and the card CVV2 (the 3 digits on the reverse side of the card and lastly enter your card pin; and
Then click on Pay.
Pls note: (Do not Refresh your browser while the process is going on to avoid multiple deductions from your account. If nothing is displayed after 10 minutes, close the browser and restart again).

After Login, click on Continue Registration Link on the main menu.
Fill in your other bio-data and necessary details truthfully on the webpage. All candidates should upload their Passports by clicking on Browse button and select your picture. Your Passport must not be more than 20KB.
On completion of bio-data. click on Next Step button then click OK on the message dialog box.
All DE candidates should complete the Institution of choice and click on Save then click OK on the message dialog box.
On completion of choice of Institution click Next Step button.

Direct Entry candidates are required to select their Higher Academic Qualification(s) from the drop down and click on Save. On the dialog box click OK;
To add more Higher Academic Qualifications click on qualifications drop down to select your additional qualifications click on save; and
Click on Next Step.
All candidates (UTME and DE) are required to supply their O/L details as follows:
Pick Number of sitting(s) by clicking on the drop-down button
Enter all the required O/L details; and
Click on Submit button then click OK on the message dialog box.
Click Scheduling Tab. All candidates must select a screening centre from the drop-down menu. Note an alert will be immediately sent to your e-mail and phone number provided in your bio-data.
Click Print Tab to print out the following:
Pre-Admission Screening Registration form;
Scheduling Slip; and
Payment Receipt.
Note: All candidates are expected to come to the screening centre with the printouts

dnt let anybody scam you oo there is nothing lyk unilorin PQ. unilorin post utme is CBT based and it would be very difficult for anyone to generate past questions on it, just focus on your maths,english current affairs and little general knowledge questions and u re good to go .

To all those preparing to write the forth coming unilorin post utme exams..my advice to you is that u should just be prepared both academic wise and religious wise cos the exams is going to be CBT based and trust you are going to be needing luck its not as if the questions are tough they are actually very simple(you should not have any problem with it if you went to a good secondary school)bt if you are not mentally prepared you are going to be nervous and once you are nervous you are prone to mistakes,so u just have to be composed and dont try to waste too much tym on each questions.once you have difficulty with any question pls dnt try to dwell on it as they will put some tricky questions to eat your tym ,jst pick an option and move to the next..will be droping some more tips as the thread goes on.pls feel free to ask any question from now on, cos i feel lyk i owe it to you guys cos i benefited a lot from last year's thread.and here i am a 300l computer science undergraduate..

aykay45: After d payment of ur school fees and ur course reg, it nt yet over make sure ur open ur files @both ur dept and faculty... Dosent still end der, u wud av to reg wt d library and medicals, both dnt look important much, cos peeps wont do it, buh it must b required b4 u graduate, its beta u jst take d pain nw and reg for both medicals and library

pls u guys should help me. i just succesfully paid my acceptance fee.but on the page to print the receipt.it brings all my details but does not bring out my picture.please is it general. i need a reply ASAP.

I might nt know his own reason bt that is a fact. Am a product of yabatech computer science ND and here i am applying for direct entry into unilorin.and going back 2 do HND is not even an option for me now.please dont let anybody deceive u by telling u dat yabatech does more practical dan unilorin because d fact is that there is no difference between both cos they only give u theory and little or no practical at all. Moreover the university is far more respected than the polytechnic nowadays xcept u re into the IT world where its based on what u can offer.
My advice for u is that if u know what u want that is if u really want and dream 2 b a civil engr then go to yabatech. Bt if u know u re okay with both courser please and please goto unilorin.

.loser mentality?? Lyk i said earlier i didnt post this i copied it frm a forum bt jst to buttress this fact i would give u 2 instances.
.1 if am nt mistaken there is a place in either jamb registration slip or the brochure that says 'jamb has the right to offer u a course or admit u in another skul other than the one u aplied for'(why would jamb give u admission for another course or into another uni if they dont av the right?).
2.it has also hAppend to me b4 cos i remember when i got admission into my present skul(yabatech) jamb sent me and admission letter for ibadan poly because i had a very high mark then.so my brother always try and reason wella b4 u post. Am a DE aspirant.

Guyz now I understand what was
going on, I learnt that every year,
Jamb has their own admission slot
in each Higher Institutions, so
what they do is that they give
admission to some candidate
randomly before the school itself
releases it admission list. Their was
a guy who was admitted to a
Polytechnic through jamb despite
the fact that he had low post
jamb mark but was admitted just
because he had a good grade in
Jamb. Congratulations to those
randomly admitted through Jamb.

samquad: i was admitted into UNILORIN through DE last 2 years. i was NEVER asked 2 submit any transcript and i NEVER submitted any. All of my friends that came in through DE last year didnt submit any transcript as well. THE POINT IS THAT YOU ARENOT REQUIRED TO SUBMIT TRANSCRIPT FOR DE ADMISSION. GBAM!

i don't think u need to send the transcript because u wil stil upload it on their site if u re eventually admitted. bt jst send it to be on the safer side cos som1 told me they wont process it if dnt send it.am also a computer sci DE aspirant and i scored 70%. Where did u submit your stmt of result and what school did u finish ur ND.
