@jenny.because of financial constraint,i am trying to reconsider to allow only wife to go but in case i want to come over,will they like to see my wife account in Australia or showing my own account will be enough.

@jenny,please Aunty,what will be your advice here,my wife want to pursue a 1.5 years course in Australia(tafe)advanced diploma,formerly it was 1 year diploma but i decided to change it to advanced so that embassy will know that she is a bonafide candidate and she want to include me in the application,now for the first year will cost 37000AUD for both of us,but the money in my account is 35000AUD,so her place of work decided to act as the co sponsor like granting her some monthly stipend throughout her stay and promised to provide to us any document necessary,i know that using company statement of account is not usually good but please advice me.Thank you

you don't need to be out,it is of recent that media started to assist visa applicants and making them to be aware of the risk,it is never their fault brother.

I was offer admission into june session ,1.5year TAFE nursing in bunbury ,western Australia,.thou I used my IELTS general to apply..can used this to apply to the embassy for student visa.

You must provide test results of one of the following:

a) International English Language Testing System (IELTS) Certificate

IELTS test score of:

5.5 or above for direct entry into a course; or
4.5 with an ELICOS course to be taken before your main course. You can study a preliminary English course for up to 30 weeks.
Note: You can take the Academic or General IELTS test to meet English Language requirements for a student visa. However, please check with your Australian education provider about which test they require for your enrolment.

pilothope,i am very much sure that with your academic grade,you must get scholarship in Canada if you apply for masters in research,go to nairaland travelling to canada thread,read the part 1,2 and 3 you will get all you need.They must give you good funding in canada more than Australia.If you try school like memorial university in newfoundland,there own admission come automatically with funding,then you can equally apply to other universities then you can chose the best

before jenny comes in i will like to answer some of your questions,you only need to show the fund for living expenses,tuition,and transportation,if your wife is not working,you will need to prove to them the means of sustainability of your family while you are on away,and this one have no stipulated amount to show unless they are going with you to Australia.

ferdimako: U meant IELTS? April and May dates are still available. I just want to do mine in August. Take a break from and stuff. I cannot downgrade myself because of tuition, instead look for PR from here.TAFE is a pathway to Ms, why doing when you can hit from Ms straight up?

you can still meet up for July 2013 if you can take IELTS exam this month.Note that TAFE course is in the assessment level 3 for Nigeria applicants so the visa processing time is within 3 months but in some circumstance you may get it in 2 months or more according to the success stories here.

I will advice you to call the Australian visa office in South Africa and ask them because you may not get quick response from here at this moment.

justwise: You can't use it because the money in that account will not be available to you when you get to Australia. Company's bank account is for the running of the company.

Heard that only personal account should be used for visa processing and not company account.

@jenny and all with experience,i am self sponsored and my wife cousin want to back us with very good company statement account although he is the owner and the CEO of the company,can i use it equally.I asked because i knew that most embassies don't like sponsors using company statement of account,i hope is not applicable to australian,please those with good idea should assist me with information.thank you
