Fhemmmy: You are married to complete the other person. So if he is not smart and you are smart, that is all that is needed and together you could climb all the mountains of importance. That says it all. |

My Dad is the one with 'wise sayings' Something he used to say to us when we were younger just like Jesus said to His Disciples 'Today you see me, tomorrow you will not, so take as much in today, cos these are what will stick with you for life' That has stuck wit me 4 life, He passed away several years ago, but I still go back in memory and visit those words of wisdom, and today I walk in it. Miss u Dad |

There is nothing like too much or two little. . . . It is not the value of the ring, but what it means to the giver and the receiver. . . . I place the most value on the Heart that gave. . . . . call me sentimental |
Family › Re: Broken Engagement: Who Should Get The Ring? by Amigoz(f): 6:08am On Dec 04, 2009 |
Fhemmmy: Gifts: Something that is bestowed voluntarily and without compensation
engagement: The act of engaging or the state of being engaged. Betrothal. , Definition: pledge to marry
So with this definition, how has the ring differ from it being a gift to the woman to seal a promise to marry? since this is no longer the case, the ring stays with the victim i.e the dissapointed |
