Good move!! They bear witness of the negative consequences the alcohol infiltrates on their husbands hence taking such action. This happened in a Christian dominated location, therefore stop cursing the sharia police in Kano and other Muslims dominated areas. Alcohol is always a bad substance no matter how some negative thinking people or authorities legalized it
May your days be long!

Both men and women!
But because it is the wives and daughters of the drunkards themselves doing this, all hypocrites have lost their voices.

Imagine grieving not over the human loss but the unnecessary, heavy financial burden.
Money not spent on the living wasted allegedly for the dead.

Believe it or not, Nigeria wouldn't have been in this economic mess had INEC declared Peter Obi the winner of the last election. Nigerians are not ready to have a working country yet.
You can declare him.

Why pastor specifically?

Are they supposed to be too close to their Plumber or electrician?

Neither plumber nor electrician claims false divine powers.

Great piece of advice.
All things considered, we should have it at the back of our mind that while we should do what is humanly possible to improve our lives, we must realize that it is God's Grace and Favour that keep us going.

Let the people of Mangu confirm the news. Since the Plateau State CAN chairman made an allegation, the Nigeria Army can't be trusted.
If true, then it's a good one. All terrorists must be eliminated
The so called indigenous ppl are not willing to have peace. They want to continue killing innocent passers by unhindered. Christianity has nothing to do with all these.

Abegi.

Have you not seen the reaction of a Chinese or Indian person when they see a black person speaking mandarin or Hindi? Pride and excitement.

Africans react no differently when they see a foreigner learning their language because african languages are not that popular or easy to learn because there aren't alot of resources dedicated to them vs French or Portuguese.

Learning a new language is always an achievement.
They know this fact. Just black belle.

Islam for Muslims / Re: The Certainty Of Death by amnesty7: 10:33am On Jan 26
Lukgaf:
In this transient world, uncertainties surround every aspect of life, except one – death. It is an inevitable reality, a journey we all must embark upon, yet the when, where, and how remain elusive.

Recently, I came across a poignant post on NL detailing the demise of a brother merely two days into his UK study venture. Another account recounted the passing of a fellow brother following a seemingly trivial headache. Such stories serve as a reminder that our turn will come, but the hour is unknown.

So, are we preparing for the inevitable? Are we repenting from our sins? Are we striving to be better individuals each day?

This is a call to evaluate our actions, align them with moral values, and strive to live in a manner that pleases Allah.

Contemplating the certainty of death is not meant to induce fear but rather to inspire a meaningful and purposeful life. It is a call to righteousness, self-reflection, and sincere repentance.

May Allah grant us a good ending (Aameen)
Amin. Jazakumullahu khairan.
