A GRAPHIC video making the rounds online shows an Ethiopian lady falling from the seventh floor of a building in Kuwait.

According to Ali AlAhmed, the video was recorded by the lady's employer who later posted it on Social media.

The 12-second footage shows the housemaid hanging for life, as she begged her employer for help.

The maid is seen shouting "catch me, catch me", but the employer, who showed no sign of remorse replied, "what are you doing you are crazy"

i. High Chief Ovie Ogo (Eze Ireoma of Omoku-Rivers state) ‘M’ 47 years old native of Ekpan in Ethiope East LGA of Delta state

ii. Abdullazeez Eragbe ‘M’ 40 years native of Ikabigbo in Esako West LGA of Edo State.

iii. Babatunde Oshamoto ‘M’ 49 years native of Iyamoye, Ijumu LGA of Kogi State.

iv. Samuel Idah ‘M’ 25 years old native of Uromi, Esan North - East LGA of Edo State.

v. Prince Attah a.k.a Maurice (based in United Kingdom) at large.

EXHIBITS:
i. Fourteen (14) assorted G.S.M sets, all with sim cards registered with the names of top Government officials and other prominent Nigerians.

ii. Several extra registered sim cards

iii. A diary containing phone numbers of several top government officials and prominent persons in the country On 28/03/2017 the Intelligence

Response Team (IRT) cracked and arrested these notorious suspected criminals who posed as chief of staff to President, Senate President, National Security Adviser to President, Minister of petroleum, Minister of Finance, Minister of Transport, Chief Bola Tinubu, and many other prominent Nigerians.

In a coordinated operation in synergy with the Technical Intelligence Unit (TIU) after a painstaking and sustained surveillance by IRT the above mentioned suspects were arrested. The four man gang notorious syndicate led by one High Chief Ovie Ogo ( Eze Ireoma of Omoku-Rivers state) was arrested in an Hotel in Kaduna State.

i. High Chief Ovie Ogo (Eze Ireoma of Omoku-Rivers state) 47yrs native of Omoku Rivers State who impersonates Prominent Citizens from the South-South and Southeast.

ii. Abdulazeez Eragbe 40yrs impersonates prominent citizens from the North, born and brought up in Kaduna speaks Hausa fluently.

iii. Babatunde Oshamoto 49yrs impersonates prominent citizens from the South West and North Central.

iv. Samuel Idah 25yrs who supplies them with Sim cards registered with the names of the prominent Citizens.

3. All the suspects confessed to the crime admitting to have impersonated several prominent citizens and made over Twenty Million Naira (₦20,000,000) from their Criminal acts within the last six (6) months before they were arrested:

i. Chief Ovie Ogo further confessed that he posed as the National Security Adviser and collected thirteen Million Naira (₦13,000,000) from a Ghanaian who wants to get an Oil block in Nigeria.

ii. The gang also posed as the Secretary to the Government of the Federation and collected four Million Naira (₦4,000,000) from one man name withheld, who is seeking for Federal appointment.

iii. They equally posed as Chief of Staff to the President and collected Two Million Five Hundred Thousand naira (₦2,500,000) from another individual, who is looking for contract.

iv. The suspects again posed as the Chief of Staff to president and collected Seven Hundred Thousand Naira (₦700,000) from one young man name withheld, who is also seeking for Federal appointment.

4. Investigation is being intensified to arrest the other suspects at large while those arrested will be charged to court on completion of investigation.

5. The general public is advised to be careful and verify the identity of whosoever they may wish to transact business or relate with.

The Senate has amended the Electoral Act 2010 to allow for the use of electronic voting and devices for conduct of elections in Nigeria.
The new election methods followed the amendment of the 2010 Electoral Act which passed third reading at Thursday's plenary.

Briefing newsmen after the exercise, former Chairman of the Senate Committee on Independent National Electoral Commission, Senator Abubakar Kyari, who earlier originated the amendment says the new law when assented will modernise Nigeria's electoral system.

Also amended is the transmission of election results which is now to be done electronically immediately after collation is done at ward, local government and state levels.

Senator Kyari stood in for the Chairman of the INEC committee, Senator Ali Ndume, who was suspended by the Senate for six months on Wednesday.

The amendment is however subject to concurrence by the House of Representatives and assent by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has approved the granting of a Wholesale Development Finance Institution Licence with national authorization, to the Development Bank of Nigeria (DBN) Plc.

The approval was conveyed in a letter addressed to the Managing Director/Chief Executive of Officer of DBN dated March 28, 2017. The letter was signed by the Deputy Governor of the CBN in charge of Financial System Stability.
The approval was subject to meeting the minimum capital requirement of N100 billion and the reconstitution of the Board of the Bank and reviewing its organogram.

The DBN, was conceived in 2014 however, its take-off had been fraught with delays. The President Muhammadu Buhari led administration inherited the project with a determination to resolve all outstanding issues and set a target of 2017 for its take-off.
The DBN will have access to US$1.3bn (N396.5 billion) which has been jointly provided by the World Bank (WB), KfW (German Development Bank), the African Development Bank (AfDB) and the Agence Française de Development (French Development Agency). The Bank is also finalising agreements with the European Investment Bank (EIB).

The DBN will provide loans to all sectors of the economy including, manufacturing, services and other industries not currently served by existing development banks thereby filling an important gap in the provision of finance to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
As a wholesale bank, the DBN will lend wholesale to Microfinance Banks which will on-lend medium to long-term loans to MSMEs, which currently contribute about 48.47 percent to the Gross Domestic Products (GDP) of Nigeria but have access to only about 5 percent of lending from Deposit Money Banks (DMBs).

According to the minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun "We expect that the influx of additional capital from the DBN will lower borrowing rates and the longer tenure of the loans, will provide the required flexibility in the management of cash flows, giving businesses the opportunity to make capital improvements, and acquire equipment or supplies".

Governor Ayodele Fayose was pictured on a bike while supervising Jimoh Aliu/Apata Natha/Nova/Bashiri Road after a little shower in Ado-Ekiti on Monday evening.

Mr. Fayose who assured Ekiti people that he will continue to work in their interest urged residents to ensure they put people who will work for them in position of authority said the road will be completed within the next four months.

With him on the supervisory trip was the Ekiti State Commissioner for Works, Mrs. Funmilayo T Ogun.
