PhonesHuawei Y9 2019- Power Pass Power. by AmyStar16(op): 3:56pm On Feb 07, 2019
I went to bed last night with my phone’s battery on 20%, with the light that there was, I didn’t plug in my phone. I woke up at 2:21am to use the bathroom and there was still light. My phone was safely tucked under my pillow and I still didn’t power it. Only two things could have made me act that way.
1- I completely forgot the importance of a powered up phone.
2- I have so much confidence in the battery capacity of my phone.
You can tell that it is more of the latter than the former. I have had experiences with phones that boast of super powers when it comes to batteries, but oya come and perform na, battery will be falling hand. So it was only normal for me to be skeptical about the 4000mAh battery capacity claim of HUAWEI Y9 2019. I didn’t hope for such outstanding performance but to my amazement, the phone is out doing itself.
What attracted me to the phone when I received it (as it was a gift) was the screen size of 6.5”. Watching videos on the move, without necessarily having to stick my nose to my phone for a better view was okay for me. I was okay with the fantastic camera as well, but the battery guys, the battery has me on a different high. One would think that for a battery that can handle a full day of calls and browsing, the full charge time would take forever, but no. HUAWEI Y9 2019 is fast charging power efficient. It is absolutely amazing. And no, this doesn’t change with time as I’ve had this phone for three months or a little over and it is still the same experience. Now I have to literally give myself a pep talk to charge my phone, not because I’m worried but because I think it is the phone’s fundamental right to receive charge. Meanwhile, N76,900 for so much value to me is more than fair.

PhonesHuawei Nova3i For The Busiest Cities. by AmyStar16(op): 3:45pm On Feb 07, 2019
On my way back from work yesterday, around Obalende, I got a call. Through the hustle and bustle of pedestrians trying to get a bus, drivers and riders honking with no restraint and hawkers loudly announcing their merchandise, I hesitantly brought out my phone from the inner-inner-side pocket of my handbag where it had been neatly tucked it in for security reasons. I rolled my eyes when I saw that the call was from a guy who has been talking to me (you know what I mean). The plan was to pick up, hoping that by the time my voice is being drowned out in the surrounding noise, he’d use his brain to know that it just wasn’t a good time. Worst mistake. I picked up the call and my guy started a full blown conversation, seriously taking his time and giggling at everything I grudgingly said. I could hear him crystal clear. Next thing he asked me “Are you still at the office, why is it so quiet?” That was when I concluded that this guy had lost it. “I am at Obalende, trying to get a bus home. Can you not hear all this noise?” I blurted out in exasperation. He hesitated, and then asked “Are you sure? Because it’s really quiet there?” I was about to blast him, when he cut in again and asked “Oh, what phone do you use?” And that was when I remembered my HUAWEI nova 3i Noise Cancellation and Voice call Enhancement feature. Snap! It occurred to me there and then that this guy was enjoying very clear and noiseless conversation and I could also hear him so clearly because of my AI geared nova 3i connectivity. This tremendous phone al also supports Dual 4G-LTE meaning that I can use 4G on both sims at the same time. Turns out I’ll have to find another excuse for stalling on conversations because my HUAWEI nova 3i noise cancellation feature has cancelled noise from the list

PhonesHUAWEI Nova3i- A Player’s Best Friend. by AmyStar16(op): 10:39am On Feb 06, 2019
That’s how my brother colonized my HUAWEI nova3i. Whenever I visit him in boarding school, the boy will be extra excited and I would be feeling cool that my presence excites my brother. Last Sunday, I went to visit him and as soon as he saw me, he lit up, hugged me and immediately asked for my phone. I lied to him that I left it at home. Brothers and sisters, that’s how the boy hissed and faced our mum and started talking with her. Spoilt child. Our sweet mother then offered her Infinix Hot 6 to him and he turned it down. Borrower with a choice. When I asked him why, he said “Shay you don’t know that playing game on your phone is like playing on TV at home” I asked for further explanations and he went on to tell me about the HUAWEI GPU Turbo technology that ensures robust graphics and real time gaming experience and how that there’s never any form of lagging or heating when playing all the intense games he likes. He added that the Kirin 910 processor makes the gaming process as seamless as it would be when playing the actual console and on TV. I was looking at him and wondering how he got to know so much about my phone that I wasn’t even aware of. Our mum chipped in and said, “Ah ah, but my own is like that too na “, then he laughed out loud and moved a distance from her and said “Abeg mummy, small game your phone will start freezing and burning at the same time. I will shoot and the bullet will hit the target two days after. Next thing battery low and you will start shouting at me”. I almost died. Of course he knew better than stand next to her as he uttered those words. Lol. I was lowkey pained that it wasn’t really me that excited my brother, nonetheless, for being such a smartie and knowing his communication-technology in Jss1, I brought out my HUAWEI nova3i and gave him for 2 hours. He deserved it and I also deserved my spot as his fave.

PhonesHuawei Nova3i- Dressed To Impress by AmyStar16(op):
We can all agree that in this world of superficiality, packaging is the order of the day. If you don’t package your market well, just know that it will not sell as it should regardless of how much value you promise. This “philosophy” cuts across every industry from fashion to entertainment to ICT. Gadgets are getting sleeker and come on color variants. The almost recent HUAWEI nova 3i for instance, covered with a sleek glass back. Secured on a mid-frame built with aluminum-magnesium alloy, the glass panels give a lush and premium look and feel to the device, while the metal chassis gives the device the rigidity to handle everyday use.
Coloring also comes to play in this packaging business. Since Huawei introduced the gradient color with the critically-acclaimed HUAWEI P20 series, the market hasn’t seen another device that could recreate the mesmerizing effect. Thus, Huawei took it upon itself to launch a new gradient color with the HUAWEI nova 3i‘s Iris Purple, featuring a smooth transition from purple to blue. Other colors on offer include: Black and Pearl White. People say you eat first with your eyes don’t they? Huawei got that right.

PhonesHuawei Mate20 Pro Is Not Your Mate, Show Some Respect. by AmyStar16(op): 5:29pm On Jan 30, 2019
LoL. When I tell people that technology is spiritual, they’ll say I’m somehow. I’ve heard of wireless charging but please brethren, which one is reverse wireless charging again? As if it’s not wonderment enough that my phone is charging without being plugged in. Huawei now says I can not only charge my phone wireless but use my own phone to charge another person’s phone, wireless (that’s of course assuming I had the Huawei Mate 20 Pro). Let me just say it here and now that that thing crazy.
If you’ve heard of a smartphone that is able to do this wireless reverse charging, please let me know. If not, respect yourself and quietly rise to your feet and salute the King of smartphones. Huawei Mate 20Pro. We are not sure how much in naira it is yet o, as the Huawei Nigeria has not said anything about price yet. But if you’re expecting this phone to be less than 150K, sorry, we have passed your bus stop.
