greatwaters: *smiles* A performance freak would disagree with you. If you are not overly concerned about running very heavy games and apps, the phone is ok. Worth it, at least from the specs
Your profile picture looks good and your bio seems impressive but why are you talking like someone that is razz?
ZUBY77: No wonder you have been arguing with me. You got a new Tecno phone that I am sure you didn't buy by yourself. I bet you don't know the meaning of gorilla glass.
That's what my Samsung Galaxy s6 edge+ uses. That's your one year salary there. Mgbeke.
Why you dey call me Ana Montana? Gorilla glass is amazing, all I was saying is that the Phantom 5 has other pretty cool features that you seem to be overlooking. No vex, mbok
sats: ana montana, the screen is your phone, you need all the protection you can get for your screen, so that it can survive some falls, otherwise you will end up with a cracked screen
ana montana, try and watch the 5.5 inch,FHD 1080*1920 pixels,IPS LTPS, GFF full Lamination (2.5D Arc screen) Corning® Gorilla® Glass 3 of the ulefone be touch 2 phone screen test, then you will kno why gorilla glass is crucial
LOL> This is hilarious. See how people are just sooooo hateful and grumpy.
Tizzie: Seriously ?? Your whole post is just shxt ! Like did you even read the op's post at all ? The op never said the video was shot using a phantom 5, he said that he's been using the phone & he saw a nice ad. & thought he should share. This video is an ad. That highlights some of the phone's features & can be shared by anyone.
henry007: I am a fan of the TECNO Phantom 5. I have been using one as my primary device till date and it has succeeded in impressing me. Last week, I saw a nice Ad for the Phantom 5 on YouTube. When I first saw it, I sat there grinning from ear to ear. The Ad features a young man in suit at the reception of an office building. He plays on his Phantom 5 to pass time while waiting for his appointment.
I like the short video because it highlights all the things I like about the Phantom 5 – fingerprint unlocking, high fidelity audio, great camera, and 4G LTE internet.
First up, is fingerprint unlocking. This is perhaps the greatest feature that brings convenience to the phone. In the Ad, the guy turns his phone around to place his index finger on the fingerprint scanner. I think that is not quite a convenient way to use it. How I use mine is pick it up facing me and my index finger automatically resting on the scanner at the back. The display comes alive and unlocks in that single, swift move. No flipping around or anything. But I am nit-picking; right? If he enjoys using it that other way…..
The Ad demonstrates the immersive media experience on the Phantom 5 – again, the guy is transported into a live concert experience. After this, you will see the guy being transported from the present into memories of good times with the camera. This is then followed by another transportation into a Roman theatre where two gladiators are slugging it out. He almost gets his head chopped off too and is timely transported back to reality where a lady summons him for his appointment. God saved him.
It is an entertaining video that is quite well done. It strikes a cord with me. I can testify to the fact that while the 5’s loudspeaker isn’t stereo, it churns out great quality audio that comes close to what obtains on devices with stereo speakers. The camera is really good too, and my Smile 4G LTE SIM works with the Phantom 5 without hitches for my mobile broadband needs.
This particular phone; Phantom 5, is a premium phone.
parrotibaba: are you having a laugh? Tecno products are substandard and that's their limit. They produce mid n low range phones and it sells but going high end and deciding to overprice it is just ridiculous. How many people bought the phantom z last year? and it sold at 50k. Now the phantom z is now crap cos of lack of OS update. The phones with the same specs as the TP5 are selling for 40-50k n yet they decided to sell this phone 70k when another OS is already out. By the time next year rolls in, another phantom with the latest OS will come out with a laughable price tag while those that wasted their 70k just like the phantom z folks will be stuck n regretting ever buying these phones. Take a look at the c8 that came out with multitasking issues, folks cried to tecno for a simple fix but in typical style they abandoned them and instead decided to launch the c5 in Nigeria. If an OEM can do this and you still think that they are booming then you are indeed suffering from inferiority complex. bye.
same here, i dont know why but i dislike tecno phones, i havent used one before anyway. But recently i had to get the tecno f5 for my lil bro, i got to operate it once in a while and i must say its a good phone.
So for me i think it depends on the type of tecno phone, not all phone companies get to produce good phones every time.
........... If i get offered a tecno phone? I still wont use it though
