CareerRe: About The ICAN/ATS Examinations by Anabib(f): 5:28pm On Apr 23, 2006
Naijapikin,

Well for PE 3 exams its best you get the following textbooks

Financial mgt-- by Oye or (this guy at pye- cant remember his name)
financial reporting-- by kalu
Auditing--- I used my note, so u can get a photocopy of a most current note from someone and also read in line wt your syllabus. e.g ISAs and SAS
MDSC---- use ICAN past questions and tutor house lecture pack (WYSE in lagos)
Tax-- will get his name later, written by (SAFE) lecturer

Really, the secret is studying past questions and Ican pilot packs
and if u can get a photo copy of an Ican tutor house lecture notes, that would help streamline what you have to read.

Ican syllabus is wide, and they expect you to know all well, so get familiar with the happenings around you, issues etc especially for MDCS as it has no text book.

All the best!!!
FashionRe: Girls' New Dress Code: Wear Your Trousers To Show Your Underpants! by Anabib(f): 3:47pm On Apr 13, 2006
WHAT A DRESS CODE!!!

GALS SHOULD DRESS MODESTLY, THATS WHAT I CALL GOOD DRESS CODE.
''NOT SHOW ME YOUR YANSH OR BELLE'' (ie buttocks and tummy)
THE ANNOYING THING IS THAT SOME EVEN WEAR SUCH WITH A G-STRING AND WHEN THEY ARE ABOUT TO JUMP BUSES (TRUST LAGOS DANFO) OTHER COMMUTERS GET A FREE CINEMA SHOW OF THEIR BUMS. angry

FELLOW SISTOOOOS DRESS SUCH THAT EVEN THE MAD PERSON ON THE STREET WILL RESPECT YOU.
CareerRe: About The ICAN/ATS Examinations by Anabib(f): 4:03pm On Apr 12, 2006
hi Le govo,

i will try and be brief here,
first ATS is for people that are not yet graduates. its has 3 stages 1, 11 and 111, the exam is usually written in MAR and SEPT each year
while ICAN is for graduates, its a professional exam and it also has 3 stages and written in MAY AND NOV each year

the relationship to ATS is that once you pass the ATS you can then be qualified to write the ICAN (remember its for non graduates)

the fees are based on the level you are writing - and its always advertised in the Newspaper, towards the exam period.

the materials are available from the various tutor houses and ICAN office (ie past questions and pilot

the duration is as a result of your successes. However it takes approx. a yr and six months to qualify (if you pass each stage\diet---) TRUST ''Nigerian factor'' angry
that is if the system will ''let its people go''
.
However dont be discouraged, they have changed the syllabus and has a credit system now which allows you to get a credit of what you have passed and re- write the failed one. so you have a better chnace now unlike before (cos they have lost many students to ACCA- london, thats why the hurried change of the old system)

my advice is that u go for it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Though just be ready to study very hard. the end justifies the means.

for further enquirie go to

RomanceRe: Should I Tell My Ex-Boyfriend That I Want Him Back? by Anabib(f): 4:37pm On Apr 05, 2006
DONT DO IT GIRL!!!!!!
let ur EX remain Ex!
if he wants u, he would look for u.

ur seeing him may only rekindle what he loves abt u and after a while, he gets to dump u again wt the same excuse or worse.
just give it time and make sure you close his door permanently shut, 'cos thats when u can meet someone that TRUELY WANTS U FOR WHO U ARE.

i know it hurts thinking about him all the time, but i suggest you go out more often and mix with other people, and let time heal the wound.
have been there and i know how you may feel, but i promise you with time you will come to thank God.

Take this lyrics from Light house family--Ocean drive

He left you Black and blue, without a word of explanation
And he took your love for granted and he left you high and dry
But you know someday, when you'll wonder what you see in him anyway
WHEN that day arrive we'll live on,

Ocean Drive
Don't know why you're so blue
Sun's gonna shine on everything you do
and the sky is so blue
Sun's gonna shine on everything you do

once again.
DONT DO IT !!!

HI desiree, pls just ignore skidoc shocked

Anyway for your eyebrow, just use eyepencil and draw out an outline of how you would like the shape to be, and then use a tweezer and pluck out the unwanted parts.

thats what i do and it gives me a natural arc. cheesy
Christianity EtcRe: Why Do Youths Run Away From Deeper Life Bible Church? by Anabib(f): 2:23pm On Apr 04, 2006
HA!!!
I have a branch close to my house, though i like their way of worship (lack of noise) unlike some ''Mushroom'' churches that keep loudspeakers outside the church premises (calling for customershuhhuhhuhhuh?).
There are few YOUTHS-guys and boys and more of Men (gallantly suited up) and ladies- both young and old (dressed like , huhsorry ''mary-amaka'') have been thinking of a word to use but had to resort to my mother tongue. pls bear wt me!!

I guess they run away because they teach you to ''do this'' and 'leave that'' without creating room for how to do it. and they attach such RESTRICTIONS to the ''Bible ie its in the bible''

so my friend, it all depends on what you are looking for in your worship or better still were you can worship and be happy. cheesy
RomanceRe: Dating a Married Man: what do Nigerians think? by Anabib(f): 12:01pm On Mar 31, 2006
u were brave to post such unpleasant past story.
but dont worry , every thing happen for a reason.
what matters most is that you have realised what you did and dont worry about ur kids finding out the truth, just ensure that you tell it to then earlier, and i believe that they will still love you.

Pls remember that some people has done much worst things in life and they live to correct others. Maybe that's the cross you were destined to bear.
