I summary, there is no Igbo in Niger delta. You only have some nationalities who have interacted with Igbo for a long time and borrow some Igbo culture along the way. That does not make them Igbo.

Today we from edo state from benin understand the following fact and we accept it completely:
Ikwerre is Ikwerre. They are no longer Benin and where never Igbo.
Ika is Ika. They are no longer Benin and where never Igbo.
Anioma is Anioma. They are no longer Benin and where never Igbo.
Esan is Esan. they are no longer Benin.
Ndoki is Ndoki. They are no longer Benin and where never Igbo.
Urhobo is Urhobo. They are no longer benin.

These niger delta nationalities are now developed enough to be a complete tribe of thier own.
