I am watching football for 2 and half decades, and never seen so hyped player like Messi … because he can score 5 against Granada, 4 against Leganes but still can’t score in the Champions League and what is most important, he can’t score at the World Cups. Because in La Liga, teams aren’t tactical and that’s why Messi and Ronaldo can score many many goals.

If Messi goes to play in Italy or England, he would never score more than 25 goals per season! Spanish league is so non-competitive and non-tactical!

If you say to me that Messi is the greatest, I would name at least 10 players who are or were better than him (RONALDINHO, ZIDANE, RONALDO NAZARIO DA LIMA, PELE, MARADONA, KAKA, ROBERTO BAGGIO, CRUYFF, PLATINI, HENRY) because Messi is playing in the time when there are no great defenders like there was used to be in the golden age of football (90s and the beginning of 2000s). If Messi and Ronaldo played in that age, they would never be so effective like in this period of football, maybe the worst period with only 2 world-class players - but this season 2016/2017,
