Nnamdi Azikiwe University came into being as an offshoot of the defunct Anambra State University of Technology (ASUTECH). ASUTECH which was established through Law No. 7 of 30 July 1980 by the Government of the old Anambra operated as a multi-campus university, with campuses in Abakiliki, Enugu, Awka and Nnewi. In 1991, following the split of the old Anambra State into Anambra and Enugu States, the Awka and Nnewi campuses of the former ASUTECH were constituted into Nnamdi Azikiwe University by the Anambra State Edict No.5 26 November 1991. Nnamdi Azikiwe University was taken over by the Federal Government by Decree No. 34 on 15 July 1992. In 1991, after the former Anambra State was split into Anambra and Enugu States, the Awka and Nnewi campuses of the former Anambra State University of Technology (ASUTECH) were combined into Nnamdi Azikiwe University, which was later taken over by Federal government. The university is named after Nnamdi Azikiwe, the first president of Nigeria. The Awka Campus became Nnamdi Azikiwe University. In 1992, the Federal Government of Nigeria took over the University from Anambra State. Nnamdi Azikiwe University, thus, became a Federal University.

Politics / Re: What Is Wrong With SE Governors? by Anambralstson: 10:14am On Jun 12, 2020
gwafaeziokwu:

There are bigger thieves in your domain. How many of you protested when Ibikunle Amosun stole N4bn Anchor Borrowers’ Fund meant for Ogun farmers. Money that was made available to the Amosun-led government in 2017 by the Central Bank of Nigeria to provide jobs for the residents through the mass production of rice.

Oga governor built fake rice pyramid, called the press snapped pictures and pocketed to whole cash. Anambra state was chosen by CBN from such programme and it was more than successful. Willie Obiano not only engaged rice farmers he also attracted more rice investors in Anambra state. Today Anambra is counted among the biggest rice producers in Nigeria.

I gave just one example, tell me who needed to be lynched Amosun or Obiano?
This is the Rice mill the crook claimed Ogun was second rice producing state in Nigeria .

Abia governors you attack online have done far better than your governors

Go to Osun the current governor is practically doing nothing because of huge debts incurred by previous administration, same thing is happening in Ekiti, Oyo and Ogun state.

what is wrong with SE governors? Uzor Kalu stoleN7.6B, TA Orji and son stole N150B; Rochas stole N7.6B...? We will turn around to blame the Hausas, Fulanis, Tinubu’s etc? They are comfortable with the Lootings by their Political leaders in the SE and not interested on how they spend the public funds. Their problem is how Tinubu is developing the SW and how El Rufai and other northern are industrializing their region with infrastructures.
Below is debt ranking in all states you claimed to be generating high IGR, please tell me what your governors are doing with these huge debts hanging in your neck and your generation, what are they doing with the IGR and FG allocation Southwestern states ranked highest in debt even higher than Abia you accused their leaders of being crooks.

Some people are losing their culture heritage at the speed of light.
That's the difference between your tribe and Igbos, Igbos see the world as their global village, that's why they will continue to dominate in business in Africa because they are highly connected.

Who can do without China We welcome them.

Romance / Re: Her Parents Rejected Me Because I Am A Polytechnic Graduate by Anambralstson: 4:26am On May 03, 2020
landmark86:
I graduated from Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.
She also graduated from Babcock University.

We both met in 2015 during our NYSC at River State. We serve in the same PPA. She is good, lovely and caring. And to crown it all she is beautiful. I mean so beautiful.

It all started with friendship which later led to relationship. We share so many things together during our time in River State as per what the future holds.

After our NYSC, we both went back to our various base. She is based in Lagos while I reside in Osun. Immediate I finished my NYSC, I got a job with a private organisation as a factory supervisor. But she went further for her Masters in Covenant University, Otta. Despite the distance we still communicate from time to time and at times I do find time to check on her in Otta, while she also do check on me in Osogbo.

After her M.sc, her dad got her a job with a big company in Lagos.

Last year December she came to Osogbo as usual to check on me but fortunately she met my parents and my siblings at my place. They all love and accept her. When she was leaving the next day she told me that her parents told her that they want to meet her fiancé.

12th January, 2020 I travelled down to Lagos to meet her parents. When getting there I met her parents with her only sister. Her dad ask of my parents, state, my qualification and what I do for a living. I told him and immediately he stood up and told me he will never allow his daughter to marry an HND holder.

He said he can't send his daughter to a university & end up marry an HND holder. Never!!! Though my gal is not in support of that, even ever since that time till now she's not her self in that house.
I truly love her and I know she truly love me too. But her parents is the major concern.
Should I call it quit?

Please your advise is needed, what should I do?
Guy it's not your qualification, the wise man have seen, you doesn't want to think out of the box by upgrading yourself, you are satisfied with your factory job, you will be a big burden to the family, free yourself from financial slave, there're guys that didn't finish secondary schools but they married university graduates, Innoson married a lawyer that graduated from UNN, same with Coscharis, it's very common in the east, what matters is your banks account.
