I know you guys are dummies, let us first understand Human Development Index (HDI) is a summary measure of average achievement in key dimensions of human development: a long and healthy life, being knowledgeable and have a decent standard of living. The HDI is the geometric mean of normalized indices for each of the three dimensions.

The health dimension is assessed by life expectancy at birth, the education dimension is measured by mean of years of schooling for adults aged 25 years and more and expected years of schooling for children of school entering age. The standard of living dimension is measured by gross national income per capita. The HDI uses the logarithm of income, to reflect the diminishing importance of income with increasing GNI. The scores for the three HDI dimension indices are then aggregated into a composite index using geometric mean. So tell me what area Borno state is better than Abia state

since you have decided to prove how foo.lish you are, let me point it straight to you. yes, maiduguri is well developed than erosion ravaged abia. at least they have functioning street lights at every major roads, including some internal roads, as well as functioning traffic light at every junction, electricity is at average 15hrs in a month, from Kano to maiduguri is dual carriage way that you can drive up to 40-50km without pot-hole, though it may be federal road. even though kanuri people don't value education like southern borno people, but they have stand public schools that I have never come across in southern Nigeria, their government don't owe salaries like what is applicable in your red mud abia. now tell me the definition of your own development? some of you ibo boys are so fond of chest beating.
This Yoruba man but you believe Borno is better than Osun skull mining enclave?

now look at how backward the state is...
Can you live in Maidugri for one year, reason why black man is so backward, developments is not building roads and streetlights, I believe Borno state is more populated than Abia but numbers of graduates Abia produce in one year surpass six years of Borno, Borno is far below Abia in all human developments index

Cjrane2:

As an Igboman from Anioma part of Igboland.
I find this thread a little bit annoying! Why can't we make a similar thread about Afikpo Igbos, Ngwa Igbos or Nsukka Igbos saying they are proud of being Igbo? Or another Igbo group? It is clear that Nigeria's Fulani leaders agenda since time immemorial has been to balkanize Igboland beginning with carving out Igbo people at the periphery of Igboland and joining them with other groups or other states as minority there. In our stupidity, we allowed them to do it for way too long.

Every true Anioma person that didn't benefit from the politics of Nigeria or Bendel State knows we have NEVER hidden our Igboness. Of course there were a few people that were motivated by the Nigerian regime to come out and say rubbish about our Igbo ancestry in their desperation to kill Biafran unity. Those people have been relegated to the dustbin of history. Moreso, Anioma Igbos singularly paid the biggest price by the genocide of our people during the civil war. If we were not Igbos, WHY WOULD FULANI SLAUGHTER US IN OUR VILLAGES?

Again, our sons volunteered and fought bravely during the Biafran war. Nobody especially Col. Murtala Mohammed will deny their fear of Col. Joe Achuzia. I know threads like this are started by Afonjas to do their bid. But, when I see respectable monikers falling for their deceit I worry about the new generation that does not know their history.
Nice one
