GardenGreen:It's a shame on you. That the innovation will come from the employee to fix the apartment from the sorry state it is in. The employee is not lazy. She's willing to do her job professionally. So her employer should do his part. If that were to be his kitchen will he eat anything cooked from there? I can't imagine how you think employers should continue to treat fellow Nigerians as slaves in their own country. Where is the human dignity in this kind of apartment?! If an employee decides to rent this then it's the person's choice as that's what she can afford. Not an employer choking this down anyone' s throat. The accommodation is supposed to be an attraction for the job which caught her attention in the first place. Not some slave mentality. |
I cannot continue to imagine that our politicians especially Festus, will rather prefer to address issues that is not first against the safety of lives and property of the millions of Nigerians they swore to protect. Rather they tackle the issue of harmless Nigerians fighting for an end to brutality and bad governance. The thousands killed on a weekly basis should be their concern first rather than all this. Now Festus wants to wake up a sleeping dog rather than face the main issue. It's a shame! |
Covid-19 has helped boost it. Another excuse from the government. Have you checked lydia_chops out on facebook? We specialize in smallchops and finger foods and ready to fry. book us today for that small gathering and hangout. |
Though this is a good one for those leaving in lagos and business along oshodi apapa expressway, the biggest earner is Dangote himself. A 10 YEAR TAX-FREE BUSINESS? |

Wow. I wish this can be emulated by other law enforcement agencies. |
The Nigerian government has to look closely into this matter before it becomes another case of revolt with the certainty of retaliation and unrest. No overlooking. |

Because of this work I have now gathered the courage to venture into this soonest. I also want to say thank you to the contributors your questions make it clear, and have highlighted the challenges. however these vary with the kind of people we encounter but we gat saydfact for better clarification. Thanks once again. |

From your introduction you are NOT a doctor but still in medical school yet you already got the flu.. the hate, the superiority mentality obviously instilled in the medical school. Too bad for a to-be-doctor-in -the -making. I had to take time to read your claim thinking we're hearing from a neutral end-patient perspective. Your story is already one sided. Instead of you to seek a win-win solution to the situation of salary scale in Nigeria alone, you rather compare the take of doctors to what is earned in Canada and claiming doctors alone rather need upgrade. Is it doctors alone that leave this country for greener pastures? Do you know that this instability in the health sector and poor motivation alone drive other professionals to think outside the box? How can you even compare the degrees of other professionals with M.Sc and Ph.D to be any less than your diploma advancement program? Have you compared the take home of a doctor currently to what other professionals take presently in Nigeria alone? Even as a Catholic myself, your Catholic church analogy does not fit in in this regard. Other professionals do their jobs expertly which cannot be reproduced by doctors. And a simple increase in pay grade and better placement be too much to ask for in one's own country? These are professionals requesting for what they need, why oppose them and not allow them get what they deserve? Other countries which appreciate good work and quality don't hesitate to absorb them. Yet the health structure is supposed to be a team work for the common good of the patient. This is how at the formative stage the abused mindset is made leader to champion a wrong cause. |
