As a Techie, Infinix cannot in anyway be compared to Xiaomi; it's like comparing a white-and-black television to an LCD. Way far, Xiaomi is reputable for having good processors (snapdragon) which is the salient thing to look out for in a phone. Or is it Xiaomi's new gorrrila glass feature to protect it against break? Processors determine battery life. Let me explain sth in a layman's tune: a snapdragon 2500Mah battery is going to last longer than a 4000Mah MediaTek battery and that is what Infinix has. Infinix is notorious for selling expensive rubbish with cheap chipsets.

Avoid Techno, iTel, Infinix.

The first u should ask his, is budget, don't force him to save more to buy what u have in mind, ask him his budget....

U guys might be think I am supporting Tecno or infinix brand, or I hate Xiaomi no.

What I hate is Xiaomi users on Nairaland....

They blame Tecno and infinix for constantly producing phones this year and they forgot that, Samsung and Xiaomi did the same too, infanct Samsung own worst.

They blame Tecno infinix for producing with Heliop22 in 2019
And they forgot Xiaomi produced a phone with snapdragon 439 in 2019 (but its OK after all is xiaomi right)

U will see them saying 720p in 2019?
But the forgot that Redmi 8 is 720 too and its 2019

Then they forgot to ignore how ugly the phone looks sometimes.. But they will tell u it doesn't matter as far as its xiaomi, na d inside only.

I have so many annoying comparison I see only, den I asked, are we eating phone,

When I checked the Camon 12 front camera of 24mega pixel. My infinix note 5 16mp is just far better, even my Camon CX air 13 mega pix was far better,.,.,

If u want to compare a phone compare it with d model name don't just generis that its all rubbish,

I bet u if Tecno put all these features and increase the price, u will xiaomi users saying "haba its expensive ooo"

Tecno and Infinix phones are glorified garbages. Phones that malfunctions in it's software efficiency over a short time.

Let me out it this way.
In my office, there's a WiFi which I started using recently to download movies. There is a colleague with Infinix Hot 6 while I use UMigidi A3 Pro. I tap into the WiFi irrespective of the range and strength and I'm able to use it to download stuffs. While on the Hot 6, he can't even load web pages. That's one.
Also, the network isn't so great, yeah, but my phone gives me 4G standby (most of the times) on Airtel, (Glo) and MTN without noticeable complains. But the others using the shitty Tecno and Infinix products, even Nokia 6 keep complaining of data network.
On camera, what my phone lacks is exposure. But if it gets good exposure it still stands more sharp and detailed than the Hot 6, Pouvoir, Spark 2 abi 3 and Camon C11. And I'm not exaggerating.

If we are telling you that you're using shit, you are using shit. The guy with HOT 6 has confessed that if not for money he'd have got my kinda phone. Also, a female colleague has opted for A5 Pro in time to come.

See, don't compare Tecno and Infinix products to other devices. I'd only recommend Tecno phones to someone who's on serious budget and afraid of the cost of spare parts.

And last, don't ever disrespect LeEco Le Pro 3 x720. Because it beats all Tecno phones in the 40-70k range effortlessly.
Tecno that are still giving flagship phones 2gb RAM in 2019. Smh.

In terms of d disadvantages it is enough reason to tell someone not to buy xiaomi phone, I own TLC smartphone sold it to a friend sweet phone, she drowned the phone by mistake up til now she couldn't see the part in the market, I have used enough brands like THL, and others that I don't even remember der names, phones parts is huge excuse to have Tecno phones,

I never xiaomi, I only don't like the Nairaland users, the blame Tecno marketers just to boast Redmi and its annoying

The Op never mentioned any phone at all in this analysis, that a Tecno user commend Tecno product is that a problem, what I am waiting is to hear a xiaomi user to tell me he or she is using a 2 year old phone, most of them change phones like crazy,

Let me ask u if phone shelf life is 2-3 years, why den do they produce more than 7 series in the space of one year, they for allow each phone to reach 2-3 years before producing another one na ....

Everything is money and 70% of people changing phones is because of Changephonobia we all are phone freaks..

My boss is using Camon 11, he no get time for processor or. Update or ROM as far as he can snap with it and do normal android stuff..
My other Boss is using Samsun A50, the only thing I know about that phone is Whatsapp, he make calls with Nokia touch, so his expensive Samsung is just for Whatsapp and snapping..the reason is he just like Samsung.

But remember the two individual are still achieving the same thing using different products carefully.

My Samsung boss don't even do monthly security update intact he always off data to save Mb

All the company are just using us to make money.

Der is no much different between Samsung m20 and A30

No much different between redmi note 7 and note 8 if not design and 4 cameras,

IPhone 10 is a Greate phone so will they produce iPhone 11 now they are planning iPhone 12...

All of them are the same using us to make money, most features in these phones we won't use them in the next 5 years still we change it, so I guess we change phone just because we want and have d money, its sickness that will be difficult to cure as far as Nigeria youths are concern.... And finally most people buying cheap Tecno for der cheap price to enjoy android experience not because of update and processor bla bla

Am using Note 5 infinix what can ur do that mine won't do pls tell me (don't mind my English)

And they are all in the same price range and when u add transportation d Redmi 8 will be more expensive because its not as popular as Tecno, I want Redmi 8 user to tell me why one should buy Redmi 8,

Secondly I want Xiaomi users to know that Redmi 8 is 2019 device but still they use old processor, so why will. U people condemn Tecno and infinix for using old processor..

I want then to come and defend this, and FYI Tecno is cheaper too

That 42k (or 44k) would get you LeEco Le Pro 3 x720 (4/32gb) or 36k(or 41k) would get you UMigidi A5 Pro (4/32gb) which are far better phones than the garbage you're happy about.

Almost every goods happened via internet so they are online, we are talking of when u have choice to buy same item online and offline.

As in she wants to buy infinix phone at 53 naira and because aliexpress or Amazon and etc sold same item 50 naira, u want her to buy online for what, is that not madness, even the shipping fee and waybill will later make it expensive, if u are buy wholesale online, that's different because for sure, warranty and other return policy will be involved, but if u are buy retail on something that is available all over Nigeria and u want me to buy it online that is madness, unless its not available or supper supper cheap plus time.

Amazon will not be rich just because of retail items its probably because of wholesale.....

U must add Jumia and konga even Jiji they are all online, the purpose of online is for u to reach things u can't get easily from ur point of location that is why we have Internet, but my dear if ur item spoil, calculate the time it will take to send it back, time of repair, and time return

Imagine u bought a cinema online for ur project and it spoil on the way and u need it so urgent for ur project.

Around 2014 I bought gionee m3 and I took it home, d owner wanted to test it for me I told dem no, when I reached home I observed that one of the volume key is not working, I took it back and they changed it for me, that was even a very local store,

I bought charger this year from Jumia, free shipping when I got the charger was bad, even d cable was bad, I requested for return of fund, it was carried out but due to time and frustration I cancelled d whole thing,

I bought Gionee product Jumia last year, when I tried to work of the phone, at gionee office, they said they won't repair it that it was online product,

Der are much much risk involved in buying online, just say buy from AliEpress is safer than others, but I prefer buying from shops test my product before going home with it,
