Deltamani:Oh yes I did write them off and was more than happy with the WC outing. But now we are in a group with the World champions who are definitely better than England and a Japanese team that many even tipped to win the last WC. For me, it would be unfair to expect that it would be a walk in the park for us and our right to advance from that group. I wish our team nothing but the best and I hope we advance to the 2nd round but won't crucify the team if they fail to do so. |

Deltamani:If we want to be logical and remove any form of bias, 1pt should be the expectation, draw against Brazil. However, i would be over the moon if we can get 4pts from this group. |

elyte89:Honestly, if the punch report is true, i doubt the current NFF and the tech committee (surprisingly had some of his teammates) would give him any appointment. In my opinion, I think he is burning bridges with the NFF already. Also, unrelated, who could Osimehn have been singing for in the viral video after he won the CAF POY when he did apala song? 4 Likes 1 Share |

Kog45:If it were possible i would recommend Amuneke as U23 coach or maybe even apply for the now vacant Enyimba role. I remember Siasia coached Heartland for a few games before his first SE appointment. |

Joebie:Amuneke should try and get a job even if it's on the local scene as Finidi has done. His results will make a more compelling case as it did for Keshi. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Is success really a DNA thing? We have had a lot of sons/daughters of sports stars try to follow their parent's or siblings footsteps but were not as successful. On the flipside, we do have some truly Iconic sports families. I would list out some I know where different members of a family achieved moderate to huge success in sports. Segun Odegbami and Wole Odegbami - football, Nigeria (brothers) The Ayews - Abedi Pele, Kwame Ayew (brother of Abedi), André Ayew, Jordan Ayew Kalu Uche and Ik Uche - football, Nigeria (brothers) Davidson and Osmond Ezenwa (twin brothers, athletics) Emma and Patrick Okala (brothers and Goalkeepers) Kanu Nwankwo and Ogbonna Kanu John and Peter Utaka Finidi George and Late Igenewari George Sunday Oliseh and Azubuike Oliseh Serena and Venus Williams Johan Cruyff and Jodi Cryuff Inaki and Nico Williams - football, Inaki (Ghana), Nico (Spain) Gary Neville and Phil Neville Frank Lampard Sr and Frank Lampard Jr You can name yours too. |

charlesemeka85:See life, the first Norwegian club said he wasn't good enough and threw away a lottery winning ticket. Because someone rejected una no be the end of the world!!!!!. I read somewhere too that Dortmund declined to sign Marco Reus because they said he was too skinny as a youth player and eventually spent millions of dollars to sign him. Much can be said of Osimehn, Salah and KDB too, players rejected but came back stronger and proved the doubters wrong!!! 2 Likes |

Mujtahida:In the civiian era, we have had Gabros, Jasper Utd, Giwa FC, Ubah FC, MFM, Ikorodu Utd, COD as well. Then.there was that club I think in.Akwa Ibom or Cross Rivers whose name starts with a V that flattered to deceive. One private club that stands heads and shoulders above the rest is Remo, we cant even compare Sporting Lagos to them yet? |
