was offered admission into a reputable university to study IRPM but, i'm planning to reject the offer cos i feel IRPM isn't a good course. I got to find out that HRM and IRPM are NOT the the same course, as HRM has completely replaced IRPM, meaning IRPM is outdated and no longer in use. don't want to study an outdated course(IRPM)..advice pls

Difference Between Personnel

by the Personnel Management (PM). It is
popularly known as Traditional
Personnel Management. Human Resource
Management have been emerged as an
extension over the Traditional Personnel
Management . Many management students
and layman, think that the two terms are
synonymous but, the fact is that the
modern HRM has completely replaced
PM.

I was actually offered admission to study IRPM in UNIBEN but, I'm contemplating rejecting the offer because i got to find out that HRM and IRPM are not the same course as IRPM is outdated, no longer in use and has been replaced with HRM. don't want to study an outdated course. HRM is the course i want to study not IRPM. your advise needed pls

well, Let me help with my minute knowledge on this. You can't process physical clearance without paying the acceptance fee. you are to pay the acceptance fee when doing online clearance where you will upload some of your requirements or documents like WAEC cert and others.


as for the other question, Does the change in name of the course change Its Specialty? I mean, does change its significance?

Mr Godwin, thanks for your immense assistance to UNIBEN students. pls, I'm very much concern about the deadline for payment of acceptance fees, because I don't think i can raise 45k within short period. hope they will give us enough time to pay, when is it likely to end?

UNIBEN created the depertment of HUMAN Resource Management in 2013 and has already admitted two set to the dept. but the info I got from a student of the dept has it that the dept has been renamed as Industrial Relations and Personnel Management(IRPM) following NUC directive. how true is this?

The course i want to study is Human Resources Management not IRPM, i may reject the admission if the name has actually been changed. what are the requirements for change of course after 100 level?

no it didn't change it just didn't show again but that application record shows admitted

Thanks man. Yes, I was given my chosen course. the course used to be Human Resources Management, but was recently renamed as IRPM due to reasons best known to them ooo

mine is showing ''admitted'' doesn't it mean i have been admitted? any one admitted to study Industrial Relations and Personnel Management?

UNIBEN direct entry screening will hold between 26 and 28th of October 2015, while registration ends on 24th of September.

AAU second semester exam is ongoing...
Admission list has since been compiled and sent to JAMB for upload, which im sure will be uploaded before this week runs out

How does UNIBEN offer admission to candidates? Is it based on aggregate score or simply PUTME score? will a candidate with 45 PUTME score and aggregate score of 50 be offered admission? some peeps say it's only when your PUTME score is 50+ and aggregate is 50+ that you be considered.
