That said, understand that men of God are only vessels that ultimately transmit God's Word to us. Not every man of God is called to be your pastor, even within the same church.

As for your talk of being stifled, you forget that Joshua only emerged when Moses was gone, and no one heard of Elisha until Elijah was taken. No ship can have two captains, and no company can have two CEOs. No country can have two presidents.

I worshipped with Abioye for 2 years in Kaduna. One of the very challenging periods in my life. His preachings guided to a period of unmatched glory till date.

I'm sorry o, I would rather listen to Abioye preach than Oyedepo anyday!

Everyone has a certain pastor or preacher ordained for them. If you listen to the preaching of the person that is not sent to you, you will think the preacher is not genuine.

I had same experience. I was in partnership with a friend who was both the boss, CEO and everything. Hiding money and getting the bulk of everything. I valued our friendship more than the money so I overlooked the excesses and just did my job but one night while praying the Lord told me that if I do not break out of this friend, I will never be successful.

I was scared of leaving so I don't offend him and of a truth I was comfortable with the little I was getting.

Spiritual authority and depth is earned tru the exact paths that God has put before you.

Skills, knowledge and spiritual gifts are not enough.

Many people like Bishop Abioye coz he seems humble, I believe that is one of the reasons why God allowed him to back Bishop Oyedepo for many years.

Bishop Oyedepo is an aggressive lion, and needs someone close with some calm, worded and balanced appeal to carry the ministry weight.

If Bishop Abioye is not called to patriach a ministry pathway by himself, he would not have gotten to where he is today.

It is only the hand of God that gives a voice and makes a man great. And this has to do with obedience to his will or burden.

* * Arguably, even the greatest man of God in Nigeria today, Pastor E.A Adeboye did not own a church. Not a single parish of RCCG belongs to him or his family. . but becoz he connected himself to God"s needed move for that season, his name was established tru God's name.

Whereas, God permitted Bishop Oyedepo and some others to create paths and establish churches directly.

Paul enenche has nothing to do with oyedepo till he became a minister.oyedepo was a man he admired from afar and loved his style and method of teaching. Later went to him for blessing and to act as his father figure.

I can tell you all about enenche growing up,everything about his family and ministry as an insider.

Oyedepo once adored a very popular American pastor and sought him out in his early years of ministry. He sowed seed into his ministry and tried modeling his own ministry like that guys own.
Think that pastor is dead now.
Can we say that the said pastor was oyedepo's mentor?
