VDM does not understand how prophecies work in Christianity.

Negative prophecies can be reversed by fervent prayer, and many Christians prayed that for the sake of the elect in America, the evil agenda of the Democrats to spread abortion and LGBTQ propaganda all over America and the world, including criminalizing preaching against homosexuality would not stand.

God heard and answered.

There are many instances in the bible where God Himself reversed his judgements.

Ahab: 1 Kings 21 verse 17 to 28, especially verses 27 and 28 where God spared elements of his judgement after Ahab fasted.
Hezekiah: 2 Kings 20 verses 1-4, especially verses 3 and 4 where God reversed his decision based on prayer.
Manasseh: 2 Chronicles 33 verse 10 and 11, when God heard his prayer of repentance when he was in prison and restored him.

We have the power to reverse negative prophecies because heaven operates a court where the accuser (the devil) comes to accuse the brethren day and night. But Jesus Christ is our advocate (1 John 2 verse 1, Romans 8 v 34 and Hebrews 7 v 25) who takes our prayers and defends us on the basis of His shed blood, which is on the mercy seat in heaven.

Even God Himself said: "plead your case, and bring your strong reasons" (Isaiah 41 v 21).

Even prophecies that are meant for good don't just come to pass: they must be reinforced and contended for on the altar of prayer otherwise they can be withheld, delayed or even truncated.

Do not listen to the likes of VDM: he is a traditionalist and not a Christian and does not understand the things of God.
