Music/Radio / Re: West African Idols: Season 1 (2007) by Ani4life(m): 9:04am On Feb 28, 2007
ok folks, now i know where the worst auditions have been at, ACCRA, what i saw yesterday almost redefined the concept of tolerance for me.imagine, sitting a nd listening to those ghanian pips doing the worst they could possibly come out with, believe me am being very objective here.accra was just downright horrible, if that nigerian student had auditioned in lagos or abuja, he probably would not have scaled through.its amazing!
Career / Re: Tony Elumelu Of UBA Graduated With Third Class? by Ani4life(m): 12:02pm On Feb 26, 2007

the course or your grade in sch do not matter.what matters is de ability to learn and be informed.my mum made a 1st class from unn and she isnt more sound lik my dad who mad a3rd class.achievment in life is not measured by de grade of cerf

i have taken time to go through almost all the postings here.well, while it is important to graduate well from university, its not by all means an objective appraisal of ones ability to deliver on the job.i graduated with a third class in my first degree and today,i am head of marketing of a HMO, however,i can honestly say that i had a third class because i then didnt priotize my studies very highly and i am where i am today because i have taken everything i have done since then very very seriuosly.its not a matter of how badly you fall, its a matter of how well u can rise when u have fallen.
so if tony elumelu had a third class, then it shows there is no genuine excuse for failure.if you have to sweat the harder for success then by all means do![
Career / Re: Does Anybody Know Anything About Gis by Ani4life(m): 11:38am On Feb 26, 2007
what exactly do u wish to know about GIS?, kindly visit www.gis.com
if you are still not satisfied, carry out a yahoo search for "what is gis?"

Romance / Re: Ladies: Would You Marry a Younger Man? by Ani4life(m): 1:25pm On Feb 23, 2007
[i]lol, i got news for all yo, my darling wife is 16 months older than i am but i bet u aint never seen a better matched couple.
whatever reasons you may have for not marrying a younger man, please please don't let it be because u are insecure.
i have seen some postings that suggest cultural and mundane societal trappings followed by limited and peripherial outlook in life.
for all those that swear they wld never marry a younger guy(like my honey married me) , how many younger guys wld want to marry you and your myophic stance anyway?
it all has to do with how mature you both are, remember that, SELAH!

Music/Radio / Re: West African Idols: Season 1 (2007) by Ani4life(m): 12:18pm On Feb 23, 2007
LOL, i saw the dude that was mimicking micheal jackson, believe me it was the saddest thingy i have seen in a while, and that was cruel of nana asking him to go on ahead and do that! and the guy from warri, what a laugh! what a laugh! i had a hard time sitting still whilst watching the guy sing, lol
in your opinion, which city has produced the worst audition see so far
Music/Radio / Re: West African Idols: Season 1 (2007) by Ani4life(m): 10:01am On Feb 23, 2007
yea, lara from kush auditioned in lagos, she did sing well but the point is she shldntbe there unless the concept behind the idols has changed!!
dede is really rude at times, and the dude can say rubbish at times,my God! but he does add some spice to the show,no doubt
and i agree nana is so boring, "it doesnt werk for me"  and someone should tell her that it aint "I AM ON THE DEFENCE" but "i am sitting on the fence"
men, some folks can sing and others, my GOD! if i was a judge,i'll shout."STOP OR I'LL SHOOT" lol

can't wait to see what the accra auditions was like,
Music/Radio / Re: West African Idols: Season 1 (2007) by Ani4life(m): 5:50pm On Feb 22, 2007
my wife and i have a laugh watching the auditions!!!!!! the ghanian chic, nana,is really so annoying, i cant stand her much, with her thick shiny upper lip.lol, dede is just another jerk.
but seriuosly, what lara from kush doing there?she's bigger than all this, someone should please whisper it into her ear, lol
Health / Re: Companies Selling Health Insurance In Naija by Ani4life(m): 5:36pm On Feb 22, 2007
health insurance has really grown in nigeria with introduction of a regulated health insurance system in Nigeria. you can easily purchase one from any HMO of your choice( we have about 26 accredited ones) then select from their list of contracted hospitals, its easy, very very affordable and it gives you access to healthcare benefits you wont have been able to otherwise access, i tell you, man, go for it!
