Carey Hart recalled the terrifying time while watching his wife, Pink, and their son, Jameson, while they were suffering from COVID-19 for two weeks in a radio interview with Jason Ellis on Monday.

The former professional motorcycle racer admitted that he felt helpless because he could not do anything to help. He said it was scary watching Pink and 3-year-old Jameson struggle through the disease for two weeks. He recalled that “it was intense” since they “both got extremely sick.”

The European Union has donated €50 million, (N21 billion), to Nigeria towards the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic in the country.


The donation was announced when President Buhari received in audience an EU Delegation at the State House, Abuja today Tuesday April 14th.

A report made at the Central Police Station, Enugu, Enugu State on 08/04/2020 prompted the police to arrest one Okonkwo Sunday, 52.

Sunday was reportedly arrested for allegedly emptying a can of a suspected toxic liquid substance on about 143 bags of garden eggs worth N729,000.00 at Akwata sub-market of the Ogbete Main Market.


Investigation to ascertain the real motive(s) of the suspect as well as apprehend and prosecute his accomplices to the crime is ongoing at the State Criminal Investigation Department.

It has been reported that the British PM came to the decision after he was furious about a recent shipment of test kits bound for the UK were found to be contaminated with coronavirus.

In the latest update of the Covid-19 pandemic in the country, fourteen new cases have been reported as of Thursday evening, April 9th by the National Centre for Disease Control.

In a new update on their Twitter page, the NCDC reports that there’s thirteen new cases in Lagos and one new case in Delta states. Their tweet reads,

An adorable 9-year-old girl, Oluwashikemi Ogunleye has graciously donated the sum of N950 to the Ogun State government as her own contribution to aid the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic in the state.
