Former president Goodluck Jonathan today addressed a delegation of PDP committee belonging to Makarfi faction. The committee assigned with the review of PDP's constitution, bringing lasting peace to the party and more briefed the ex-president on the progress they have made so far.GEJ commended Makarfi, the committee and said the step will help foster peace in the party.

Many Nigerians have taken to social media to hail him. They even said that power will return to PDP in 2019.

What do you think?.

Federal power will not return to PDP in 2019 if the party does not mobilise young people quickly and from across the country.
Moreover it must support democracy at the LGA level such that our lawmakers pass a Bill for federal allocation to be withheld for LGAs to states where elections have not been held to fill chairman and councillor positions.

Buhari Media Centre: What I know about it.

Since Prof. Farooq Kperogi made his 'revelation' about Buhari Media Center (BMC), many persons have come out with their own analysis. Is the name really BMC and is it truly secret?

In 2015, soon after President Muhammadu Buhari won election, modalities were put in place to accommodate most persons who worked for him on the social media, NOT journalists, but mainly top bloggers and social media influencers.
Do you mean these ones who sold their souls for a plate of porridge like Esau huh

Anyone, anyone in Nigeria, North or South, who thinks that Buhari came to power to do one iota of good for the generality of Nigerians is delusional, big time.

It is step step, inch by inch for the complete colonization of every part and resources of southern Nigeria, from grazing land, waterways, to even the individual toil of every southerner.

That is the plan, inch by inch.

omenka:
Good evening all my Progressive comrades.
What exactly makes you progressive huh
I am sure you and the other pretenders who are progreTHIEVES do not qualify for such a label as detailed below.

Progressivism is a philosophy based on the idea of progress, which asserts that advancement in science, technology, economic development, and social organization are vital to improve the human condition. Progressivism became highly significant during the Age of Enlightenment in Europe, out of the belief that Europe was demonstrating that societies could progress in civility from barbaric conditions to civilization through strengthening the basis of empirical knowledge as the foundation of society. Figures of the Enlightenment believed that progress had universal application to all societies and that these ideas would spread across the world from Europe. Sociologist Robert Nisbet defines five "crucial premises" of the Idea of Progress as being: value of the past; nobility of Western civilization; worth of economic/technological growth; scientific/scholarly knowledge obtained through reason over faith; the intrinsic importance and worth of life on Earth. Beyond this, the meanings of progressivism have varied over time and from different perspectives.
The contemporary common political conception of progressivism in the culture of the Western world emerged from the vast social changes brought about by industrialization in the Western world in the late 19th century, particularly out of the view that progress was being stifled by vast economic inequality between the rich and the poor; minimally regulated laissez-faire capitalism with monopolistic corporations; and intense and often violent conflict between workers and capitalists, thus claiming that measures were needed to address these problems.
The term is also now often used as shorthand for a more or less left-wing way of looking at the world.

How can a party whose governors owe salaries and pensions to people who have already worked while they share billions among themselves be called progressive huh

Cross River State is ready for the commissioning of the Calabar Monorail which is expected to be commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari on a soon to be announced date.

According to the State Governor, Professor Ben Ayade, the President’s Commissioning of the Monorail will be to mark his first year in office.

Speaking moments after a second test ride in the monorail, in Calabar the Cross River State Capital, Ayade said that taking another ride in the monorail was his own way of checking to ensure that the project was ready for commissioning before the President arrives the state.

Ayade maintained that with the kick-off of the monorail, the state’s economy would be boosted and many employment opportunities would be opened for the unemployed in the state.

On whether the monorail would be fully ready to accommodate the huge crowd that will flood the state soon, the Governor averred that, with the commitment shown by the contractor, he is optimistic that everyone visiting will not only have a smooth ride on the rail but a memorable experience.
